We loved this house. Location was perfect to the beach, park across the street for the boys to play basketball, pool was great, and close to restaurants and grocery stores.

Wonderful family vacation home!

Great family vacation home. Location is close to beach, shopping and restaurants. Pool was a big hit after a day at the beach. Garage parking was nice for 3 cars. Would definitely book in the future.

Family time

Great house. Booked because of the number of king bedrooms with private baths. Each couple had a great bedroom. Close to the beach and the pool was perfect for relaxing and grilling out. Perfect house for family

Great Property with Added Amenities

Had a great time at this house. The beds were comfortable and the garage ping pong, foosball, and darts was a big hit. Hopefully we will be back.

Family fun

My son, daughter, and their families to include my 4 grandchildren enjoyed the house, it’s location and neighborhood. The pool was the main attraction but the park next door and the beach just .2 miles down the street we’re high on the grands list of features.

Great home for a large group!

This home was great for our large family. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to have their own space while common areas are also large for when we wanted to be together. Everyone enjoyed the pool. Home was clean and management was quick to respond when we had a couple of questions. Loved the location and short walk to the beach. Everyone truly enjoyed our first trip to Hilton Head!

Family Gathering

Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The house was perfect for our group of adults and children. Lots of games & pool fun and it is a 10 min walk to the beach! The fenced in yard is great for dogs! No complaints from anyone in our large group! Just make sure to bring or buy all of your food needs as there is nothing in the cupboards or fridge when you arrive. We made many visits to Whole Foods & other grocery stores which was very easy. Food delivery & restaurants are in abundance.

Well spaced home

House needs cooking supplies very few pots. Pool area is need of up grade with new furniture. Mud and drain water covered and back yard no grass, slime and smell from standing water which draw mosquitoes.

Great place for family reunion

This property was perfect for our family reunion! Was great having so many separate master suites all with their own bathroom so each family could have their own separate space. We all enjoyed the short walk to the beach as well! Our only real complaint was how uncomfortable the beds were. We could really feel the springs on all but 2 of the beds (on main floor) because those 2 beds had an external foam topper added to them. They could definitely stand to replace all of the beds to make them much more comfortable! Otherwise, a beautiful home!

Thanksgiving

House was nice and it fit the whole family 16. It was an incredible the amount of holes in this place you couldn’t walk 5 feet without seeing a sign telling you not to do something. It was a bit much. Good location well appointed I could’ve done without all the rules. No flexibility with check in and check out and felt like we were going to get fined for not taking the trash out on time or getting out on time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was a good size for a large family. It had plenty of common space room, as well as, bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool was very nice. It was in a good location. The kitchen needs more forks and spoons, but had plenty of everything else. In the back yard there was an area of just dirt that turned to mud every time it rained. This area needed grass or mulch to clean it up and make it useable space.

Very Good

The house was nice and was very good sized. However, a bit outdated, and pictures not totally representative of current condition. For example, many kitchen cupboard hinges no longer working; there is no longer a bar outside by the pool, some of the furniture in the various rooms was worn down and a bit damaged, etc. Also, instructions indicated to clean the main room before check out; but vaccuum cleaner didn't work and couldn't find a broom or mop anywhere. Overall, though, a good rental.

A Wonderful Vacation in a Fabulous House

This property was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished. The house was excellent for our family (7 adults, 3 young children) with ample space for everyone. The layout allowed for private, separated sleeping quarters for each group as well as private bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked with every imaginable piece of equipment and was roomy enough for several people to prepare food simultaneously. There was a very private backyard with a pool that was enjoyed by all. It was a short walk to a beautiful uncrowded beach. We had access to plenty of pool toys as well as several beach chairs, a beach cart, and beach toys. Many grocery stores were nearby as were plenty of restaurants. We enjoyed our stay so much, we have already reserved the house for next summer!!

4 SurfWatch Way

Overall the house was good. The rooms were big enough to accommodate our party and the elevator was a nice touch but there were several things that were not up to our standards. The house was VERY dusty and didn't look to be cleaned very well. There was no mop or broom. The hot tub didn't work which was disappointing. We tried to grill and the tank was empty, when we called for assistance to get a new tank it was changed out but the worker left the burners on and we had no idea. We all could've blown up! The next day after calling to report it we were told that the owners need to provide another grill and never heard from management again. The garage door wouldn't close properly.

But there’s a caveat.

Our stay at this property was incredibly disappointing. First and foremost, the mattresses were HORRIBLE—so uncomfortable that none of us got a decent night’s sleep. We even debated leaving early. The pool and spa were not cleaned, and to make matters worse, the lights in the pool/spa didn’t even work. We reached out to management multiple times, and they were absolutely no help. The overall cleanliness of the home was subpar; the walls were dirty, and we even encountered dead bugs out in the open areas. The WiFi was painfully slow, and we had to reset it at times during our 4 night stay, which was frustrating when trying to relax. Lastly, the water pressure in the master bathroom was almost nonexistent, making using the sinks a hassle. For the price, we expected much more. I would not recommend this rental, especially if you value your lumbar.
