Thoroughly enjoyed our week at 21 Sandpiper. The house was a perfect fit for our family. Would have liked sunnier weather but made the best of it. Made excellent use of kitchen and gas grill areas. Decor was lovely. Everything was perfect for our needs and desires. Played a lot of cribbage during cloudy days. Loved getting re-acquainted with family members haven't seen for awhile. Would probably love to book it again.

Relaxing Beach Retreat

Our family of 11 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for the week we were there. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, the ice maker in the laundry room was a plus as well as the beverage fridge. It was an easy 5 minute walk to the beach from the house. The pool and hot tub was a big hit with the kids, we paid to have the hot tub heated. It’s about 1 mile to shopping and restaurants, but with a golf cart rental we were there in minutes. If you have a larger family this is a wonderful home to stay - lots of places to gather, but also places to just sit and relax if you need a bit of quiet time.

We were very happy with location, access to the beach, quiet neighborhood, and layout of the house. Only complaint is the hot tub was never warm enough to use. After I called, they promptly came and cleaned the pool and checked it. The thermostat was set at 104 degrees (which is normal for a hot tub), but it was too chilly to enjoy. Wondered if I could get a refund for what I paid extra to have a heated pool and hot tub?

Family Beach Trip

Wonderful home with all the amenities you need for a family beach stay. Really appreciated the 2 dishwashers & 2 w dryer units for a group of 12. The pool was great and loved the outdoor space. The location of the house is a very easy walk to the beach and quick bike ride to shops. My only suggestion is to have pool towels. We had to use our bath towels at the pool which meant lots of washing/dying during the week, good thing we had the 2 washer/dryer’s. Overall we would definitely come back.

Wonderful vacation property

We had 5 couples on vacation and everyone enjoyed this property!! It was very spacious inside and outside with a southern charm/beach theme throughout! We paid to heat the pool and hot tub and it was well worth it!! The description online was very accurate!! We were just a few minute walk to the beach and they even had some beach chairs, wagon and games that we could borrow! Highly recommend this home!

Amazing vacation spot!

My family and I (and my daughters’ boyfriends) had a great week at this house! Everything was just as listed, which sometimes is not the case. Location to beach was great, amenities were great, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We didn’t want to leave! We would definitely rent again and highly recommend!

Another Great Vacation on Hilton Head

Our family of 10 stayed in a beautiful home -- great location (short walk to beach and less than 1 mile from Coligny). The home was even better than described -- nicely decorated, good size bedrooms, very nice bathrooms, kitchen was extremely well stocked for anything you might want to prepare/serve, very nice pool/hot tub -- very comfortable -- the whole family loved it! The Sea Turtle Getaway staff who manages the home was very quick to respond to any questions/request we had. We had a small bug problem at one point, and they had an exterminator there in 30 minutes! The home was very clean inside and out. We would definitely go back to this home!

Wonderful Stay

The house was beautiful and so comfortable for our group of three families. The pool was lovely and the beach was such a short walk away. The house is also nicely located near many shops and restaurants. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay!

Great location, close to the beach and shopping

Rented this property for spring break for my family of 4, my sister in law's family of 5 and my mother and father in law. The layout was perfect for our 3 different families, everyone had their own space and almost all the bedrooms had a full bathroom within (one bedroom with twin beds had a full bath just outside the door). The shared space was perfect with a large well stocked kitchen with island and stools, dining area and great room with couches and TV. Every bedroom had a TV so all could retreat and watch what they wanted. We decided to have the pool and hot tub heated and service which was a good decision as week in April that we went had cooler mornings and evenings. All the kids (5 total between 2 and 11years) spent mornings and evenings in the pool. The beach was easy walking distance, even for the kids, but there is a road that needs to be crossing. This road is also directly behind the house and the bike path as well so you will notice walkers and bikers while you are in the pool area but this did not bother us. The beach area near the access is beautiful and not overly crowed. The house is about 1 mile down the road from Coligny shopping area which has shops, restaurants, ice cream and coffee shop. My family was able to walk there a back a couple of time down the bike path that runs along the road. There are plenty of grocery stores in the area so it was very easy to stock the kitchen. We used the kitchen for meals for everyone as well as the grill outside. We all had a wonderful vacation and I would highly recommend this property for a vacation with family and friends. The only small hiccup was the servicing of the pool. Per the rental agreement the pool was supposed to be serviced twice during our stay on Saturday and Tuesday or Wednesday. The pool was not serviced as of Wednesday and my mother in law called and was told the pool had been serviced and the servicing company had sent a picture to the main office as proof. The next day the pool service employee came out and we were told they had made a mistake and sent the picture from the wrong property. The gentleman who did show up on Thursday did a wonderful job cleaning the pool and returned on Friday for further cleaning. This was so minor a problem and was fixed so easily that it would not deter me from returning to this property or another one rented by the company.

Great vacation home!

We had a great experience at this home. It was clean, in a fabulous location and large enough to comfortably fit many people! We also appreciated the well stocked kitchen. We had an issue with the pool (that was not the management or owners fault) and the management company was responsive and took care of the issue quickly. We had a great time - thank you!

Super Fantastic! Small Gotchas.

This property is absolutely spectacular. There are 3 Master Suites each with their own on-suite and unique views. Two of the rooms (both with comfy twin beds) also had their own on-suite. The 3rd Room (both with comfy twin beds) also had their own bathroom just outside their bedroom. There was another pool bathroom that was used frequently and a nice laundry room. The lower master suite had it's own laundry room, which proved to be helpful. The pool and hot tub are spectacular and well worth the money. There was plenty of room for all families. We had 3 families each with a couple adult kids. The beach is very close (easy 5 minute walk). The house did come with some downsides...no beach towels (critical) and limited beach chairs (only two) and limited toiletries, which was a bummer, especially since we stayed for a full week and had a full house. It also lacked some basic cleaning supplies. Granted no one likes to clean while on vacation, but sometimes it's necessary. These were small complaints in my eyes, but something I would normally have expected in a high-end rental like this one. Oh...there's also PLENTY of parking. We had 5 cars, which easily fil in the driveway. We plan to return! Checking in was easy and the staff was great to work with...very accommodating.
