Quaint villa

This is the second year in a row we've stayed at this villa. We love the layout of having the bedrooms upstairs and living areas downstairs. The kitchen is well stocked and the living room is very warm and welcoming. We'll be back.

2 week getaway

The Location was great, we have stayed in Evian before and like the closeness to all the great "hot spots". I felt the pictures of our condo were a little deceitful; the condo is perfect size wise, but it could use some updating. The carpet and kitchen counters could use updating and a fresh coat of paint throughout the condo would make a big difference. We did receive a new gas grill which was wonderful, as we grill every night and the beds were very comfortable. The property manager was very helpful and kind. I am going to go off track here, I realize everything has gone up in price, but we have been coming to Hilton Head for approximately 15 years and absolutley love it, but I believe we are going to be priced out very soon. The rental fees are getting out of reach, which you are not the only place. I have been having a hard time finding a place for our getaway next year, but I will keep trying. Thank You Again.

Peaceful stay

My teenagers and I stayed at this beautiful property for 1 week and absolutely loved it. We loved the layout of the condo with the bedrooms upstairs and the living space downstairs. The furnishings were lovely. We especially loved the outdoor patio, great cushions and furniture! The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed. We can't wait to return!

The Theo bedding was not clean and the toilets were not clean The master bathroom toilet runs

The property was fine. The front door should be cleaned. Bugs and webs on the outside . Some light bulbs are burned out. The code on the door would not always lock. Bedding was not clean and toilets were not clean

Sufficient.

The porch was nice but filthy and there was nothing to clean with. The cleaning company should clean (sweep and wipe down table and chairs) the porch as it was lovely to sit and watch the golfers. I wish they told us that beach towels were not included in linens and how to fund the shipyard beach.

Perfect location, but….

Owner needs to take care of deferred maintenance. Walls need painting; screen door needs repair; cobwebs and bugs removed; please have condo thoroughly cleaned! We found dirty serving bowls in cabinet; doors and hand rails dirty; 1/2 bath had fake eyelashes in sink and dirty floor; bedroom sheets were dirty from prior guest. Property manager offered to send someone back to clean but it would have taken days. I am admittedly a clean fanatic and like things to be very sanitary.

Comfortable , convenient and responsive host

We enjoyed our stay at Evian in Shipyard. It’s the best location for our preferences. With a little extra cleaning , maintenance and minor repairs ( light bulbs and back screen door ) this would be a 5 star rating . I believe Robert will address these all very quickly and he was appreciative of the feedback .

The property was a little dated and some fixtures (lights ) were not working. Screen door to the patio was broken. Property description said hardwood floors but they were vinyl. Although the property was dated the value for the stay was fine. I do recommend however that 60+ avoid this property because of the multiple levels on the first floor. A little updating and this property would be nice.

Awesome Stay!

My boyfriend and I rented 110 Evian in Shipyard Plantation. From start to finish, Robert Young was so easy to work with. He was very friendly, answered my questions and made me feel welcome. The rental was beautiful. Very clean with extra towels, blankets...everything we needed. I loved the location, and the pool was really nice. I always choose Shipyard, but I'll definitely work with Robert in the future.

Very Nice Place

Overall this place was a great location and is as described online. We arrived and check in was easy with very detailed written instructions in our welcome package. The house is located on a private gated community within a short walk, bike ride or car ride to the beach. We preferred to drive with our cooler and items to the beach as it was too far to walk or bike with all of the items for the day. The house was great for our two couples that stayed for the week. However, there was a large amount of mold/mildew in the vaulted ceiling of the upstairs stairwell, the vents throughout the home, including the one next to the mold were filthy and in need of cleaning, and whomever is responsible for cleaning certainly cuts corners so it seemed. This was disappointing, especially since you pay a cleaning fee. The home could use some updated bed linens, pillows and décor throughout, but was suitable for our needs. We cooked a few meals at the home and it was nice to have everything there for us to do that. Was also great to drink our coffee in the am out back and watch the golfers make fools of themselves on the course and watch the sunset a few times out front over the pond. Lots to do and see in the area. Only complaint about communication was that when one of our party called to let the management know about the extreme amount of dust in the vents and the need to be cleaned, we were told "y'all need to get up and move around a bit more then" followed by "I will see if I can get up there", which never did happen. There was a review from 2020 that mentioned the mold and one would think it would have been taken care of by now. Besides those things mentioned, we enjoyed our stay and the home was very nice. If the owner can fix the items and update things, we would certainly come back again and again!

Great location - couple of maintenance items to work on

Awesome location and value for the price. Exterior of Front door needed cleaning - first thing you see when entering the property. Back patio screen door out of alignment and not shut and corner of screen torn so could not use. Other upgrades in kitchen nice and dining table and small eat in kitchen table a plus

Evian and Shipyard

Shipyard Plantation is a great spot for a family vacation. Safe and secure. Lots of bike trails, a big pool, a couple of golf courses, and a beautiful beach with lifeguard. The Condo at Evian was nice. There were 4 of us and we had 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths in this 2 story unit. There is also a step to enter the kitchen area and another step down to enter the den. A little scary for younger kids or older adults that might be unsteady. Colors and decor were coastal and pleasant. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and silverware. A regular coffee pot, toaster, refrigerator with an ice maker and a dishwasher are in the kitchen. The owner provided linens and towels and there is a full size washer and dryer upstairs. Each bedroom has a TV and a full bath. The master bath is quite dated but clean. The bed spreads need replacing but they were also clean. The condo is located in a nice cul de sac with plenty of free parking and an area to park and store bicycles . We had great weather and a wonderful time.

Beautiful

The condo was beautiful and comfortable. If I had to make any suggestion it would be to make the outdoor living space a little more comfortable and clean. But we love Evian and have always had a great time at Hilton Head!

Very nice Villa
