Great space!

Inside is spacious, bedrooms were comfy, kitchen pretty big, pool is nice! Quick walk to the beach Saw some comments mention the pool - it's directly under some big trees and pine needles inevitably fall in every day. They are easy to scoop out though, so not a big deal.

Great location, needs TLC

Spa heater was broken. House was clean but needs maintenance. Door & window trim separating, door and furniture handles loose, pool deck stones loose, weeds growing out of the gutters, etc. The location is great, very quiet, 3-minute walk to the beach, plenty of driveway space for cars & bikes, nice large kitchen.

Lots of Pros; few Cons - I’d reserve Again!!

Pros- Great location with easy walk to the beach. Beautiful home. Clean pool and hot tub. Hot tub and pool water were the same temperature- nice and warm, perfect for October. Everything was very clean. Property company is prompt and professional, very easy to work with. We had questions about the outdoor lights and pool lights (see below)… property company sent Sully to help us out. Very professional. Cons- this is definitely a property owned home. No personal touches. Kitchen has bare minimum essentials. We recommend they provide more kitchen towels, more than 1 hot pad for the oven, pool friendly cups, and a drawer with plastic wrap/bags/tin foil/a few basic spices would be nice. The tree roots are cracking the driveway so eventually this should be addressed. There is a crack in the kitchen ceiling and a few water spots on the ceiling that just indicate the house in settling. But please know the house is extremely SAFE AND BEAUTIFUL!! We just felt the property management might need to be aware of these details before they become a real issue. Also there are light switches that don’t turn anything off or on—the out door flood lights along the back of the lights do not work. Sully said he had just been there recently to change the bulbs. They need to leave instructions on how to turn on the pool light - there is no intuitiveness of the pool control pad. Push AUX for the pool light…. Fyi… All in all it is a beautiful place. I have saved it for future trips!!!

Disappointed

When we arrived there were no gate passes waiting as the email we received promised. We had to make trip to their office as the email said we would not have to. Only one pass, not two as paid for. Pool was filthy and when we complained we had to send photos before action was taken. The representative obviously thought we were lying There were plastic cups in the front lawn, no yard maintenance had been done. The pool company came next day with a skimmer only. Bottom of pool was never cleaned and was filled with debris. The skimmer at the house had a large whole so we couldn’t even attempt to clean the pool ourselves. The closets in 2 bedrooms were not functioning as they were off track and could not be opened/closed. The sliding door to deck was extremely hard to open and closed and it did not lock. The spa was not turned in as that was an additional cost.

Nice location but some problems.

This house was in a great location. This part of the beach was beautiful. Short walk to the beach and didn’t have to load and unload our cars each time we went to the beach. Great sunroom with ping pong table. Nice big family room but it was cut off from the kitchen. It would be nice if there were specific instructions to operate the TVs close to each set of remotes in each room. The floors in this house are in bad shape underneath the laminate. Especially in the master bedroom where there were literally bumps that we tripped over. The master bathroom was beautiful but the other two bathrooms were very outdated. The pool is on the side of the house and pretty small. Some of the stones around the pool were lose and I felt it was a safety issue. The Back door to the sunroom did not lock. The driveway was in really bad shape with extreme breaks in the concrete. The outside shower and spigot were nice after a day at the beach. Sunset rentals was very helpful and quickly responded each time we had questions. However we did have to drive to their office to pick up our passes because someone mailed our passes to the wrong state.
