Very nice.

Very nice condo in a nice location. Within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Only downfall is the pool is very small and gets really crowded. Also, the pool right outside the window is not apart of this property and you do not have access to it. Overall, our experience was great and we would recommend it to others.

Condo is located right on the beach. Short walk to pool and beach. 15 minute walk or short drive to many restaurants and shopping. Hilton restaurant/bar next door is a huge plus.

Excellent location!

Amazing location by everything a vacation needs; bikes, drinks, beach and food! The condo was quiet and we were not able to hear the neighbors. We had 1 issue the whole trip and it was resolved in hours! Highly recommend this location and vacation company!

The Just Right Week

Our first trip to Hilton Head island. The property is in just the right location. The beach a few steps away, the pool even closer. The property was clean and very well appointed. Only one concern, there are no staples available if you plan on cooking meals. We only prepared breakfast / coffee each day in the condo. It would be appreciated if the owner would allow staple items to remain in fridge for next guests. We have stayed many places who allow this, so helpful. We loved the location and the property- would love to come back!

Great stay in Hilton Head Island

We enjoyed our stay in this villa. It has a great location with easy access to the beach and the pool area. Laundry is available on floors 2, 3, & 4 (coins only). Parking was convenient. It was nice that you could go next door to Ocean Oaks for a drink or food at their poolside bar.

The location is very good. Close walking distance to many different places. The pool was clean and the temperature was nice. As for the room, there was good and bad. The good, the layout is very nice for a one bedroom. The island area in the kitchen is a great addition! The king size bed was also nice (although makes the bedroom a bit tight). The bad, the water has a very distinct taste. We went and bought bottled water instead of using any water the unit. We did kill one cock roach and although the unit was pretty clean, you could tell by the amount of dust on the tv and mount that it has not been deep cleaned in some time. The patio furniture was also very dirty and had bird poop on it. We must have misread the description on the laundry as it is not located in the unit. Overall the unit wasn't bad but I think some closer attention to cleaning could help!

Great place!

We had a nice visit and great weather for hanging out at the beach. This unit is a short walk to the beach and the pool was just the right temperature.

Hot water had a bad smell

The place was ok but evidently had not had anyone in it for some time so the hot water smelled like rotten eggs. We were told to run the hot water till it emptied the tank to fix the issue. I have to wonder though when it was cleaned prior to our arrival as I would think that the cleaning person would have used the hot water to clean!!! We were disappointed that we had to deal with that problem for them.

HHI 2019 with the kids!

We have been to HHI 6-7 times. This is the first time we stayed at Ocean Dunes. This condo was located in a perfect location. It was super clean and well decorated. There were 2 issues that we had. One issue was that in the description it shows a balcony and says that you have a pool view. BUT it’s not your pool. I booked it thinking I can sit on the balcony and watch the kids at the pool and was very surprised to see that was not the case at all. The second issue was the bed. By the third night my back was so locked up from the hard mattress it was hard to walk. I think it may be time for an upgrade on the mattresses on the pull out couch as well as the master bed. Other than that it was a good experience. We will definitely visit HHI again!

not enough handicap features

It was clean But not enough handicap parking, no handrails in showers, and the pool chairs were very difficult for seniors with disabilities to get out of. Not good for older people. Pools for other hotels joining this hotel had taller pool furniture.
