Excellent

Love the home and the location. Excellent for all our children ages 6-18. We had a wonderful time, even though we had a hurricane for part of it. Only dissatisfaction was with the property management company, who I sent three emails during the storm and prior with no response. It was an extremely active time during the storm and no answer from the Company was very disappointing and will make me think twice before I book with them again.

Fantastic Hilton Head Oceanside experience!

We stayed for one week in July with my 3 children (8, 10, 12 years), my brother and my parents (4 adults, 3 children). This was our first Hilton Head experience. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The property is as advertised. The home and property are very clean and well-managed. We found the pool and spa to be clean and in good working condition. In fact, everything was is such good shape we did not need to contact management for any issues during our stay. I did email the management company prior to our stay with a few questions and each email was addressed promptly and professionally. The spa was hot (103-104), which was important to our family. There are two dishwashers in a very large spacious kitchen. Nice range, grill, ample refrigerator space. Even has a wine fridge. One issue to be mindful about is the property and home have many levels and sets of stairs that may be challenging for some guests. This was not a problem for our family. Although, it could be an issue for elderly or guests with physical limitations. A few tips: Rent bicycles. The property rental came with a VayK credit which we used. If riding at night be mindful the island is dark. Bring flashlights or bicycle lights and a helmet. stores are busy. Consider using the grocery delivery service or mobile app. When shopping for groceries keep in mind disposable items such as coffee filters, paper towels, condiments, detergent, etc are not provided. Exceptional experience. 5/5. Would stay again!

Beautiful home/Great Location

This home is beautiful and served our family well. The multiple levels housing the 5 BR/BA allows for privacy of all parties. The location is nice and private and just steps away from the ocean. The pool is a great size and outdoor areas are awesome for dining and lounging. We enjoyed all areas of the outside and the new top level was great for evening family time. The kitchen is well equipped and made it nice for cooking meals to stay in when we chose to do so. The dishwashers are old and we could only use the one because the other was stuck on rinse mode. The ceiling also had spaghetti sauce or the like splattered so the cleaning crew needs to do a better job with things like that. The TV in the master gave us some issues but we managed to use it by manually turning it off and on. The outside shower coming from the ocean was really handy. All in all, would we rent this again…absolutely!

Family Getaway ~ Duck Hawk Sea Pines

Excellent in every way! Five bedrooms were great! The two dishwashers in the kitchen and then the full fridge/ microwave in the pool house were very helpful. We stocked the pool house fridge with drinks/ snacks so folks didn’t have to go up to the kitchen while at the pool.

Perfect place for family vacation!

We had a wonderful vacation with our family in Hilton Head last month! The house we rented was perfect for our family of 10 adults and one infant. The kitchen area was large enough for everyone to gather when preparing meals and the dining table was able to seat everyone! We loved being so close to the beach and having a pool and hot tub to enjoy every evening after a day on the beach! The check-in process was easy as was the checking out. I would definitely recommend this house to others.

HH Private Home Stay......

Management company super easy to work with and very responsive when questions/concerns/general information asked. The best I have ever worked with! Location/area/beach all wonderful!!! House layout was nice, however......in need of serious deep cleaning/fresh paint/carpet and furniture cleaning!!!! Pool great! Lower level bedrooms (3) were never cool. Guest house in much better condition and was always nice and cool inside. Great extra/private space! TVs/remotes in most rooms did not work. This home just sold so perhaps owners lost interest in maintaining. If house gets “refreshed”, we would stay here again.

The location is great. I owned a property in Sea Pines and it was part of Sea Pines VIP rentals. The pictures in the listing hide the fact that this property has not been updated in a long time. It needs paint, carpet, furnture, kitchen amenities and a new or refurbished boardwalk to the beach. The property is being rented as a prime rental and it is not. The owner is trying to sell it and is not investing any money in its upkeep. It is just tired and old. It will prevent me from renting a property from coastal in the future. I go to Sea Pines at least once per year and want first class property. This one is not

Wonderful Family Vacation

We stayed during the latter part of June and found the house to be very comfortable. Fantastic location and easy access to the beach. Large home with room for our family of 8 to have their own space and large common areas for gathering. The kitchen was great. There are a lot of stairs-but this allows for great views from each level, Fantastic multi-level decks. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the top deck-you can hear the waves rolling in. The only disappointing thing was that the hot tub was not heated-but to be fair this was noted in the contract for the time of year we were there. The management company arrived on our first day to make certain we got settled in okay and gave us some great suggestions on dining and other activities, We all had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home!

The property was a great location. We paid ALOT for 4 nights so I expected beauty.

We had to enter the home through the garage which needs new paint and a warm door to say welcome. I felt dirty. It looked like the entire property needed some TLC. Walls were scuffed and the carpet could use a good cleaning. I would have thought at $1000.00 a night that the bedrooms would be a retreat. Instead the quilt did not fit and the sheets were not even covering the mattress. The sleeping pillows were the only pillows on the beds. The dust ruffles were not even fitted on the bed properly. Not luxury at all. This home is on the market to sale so I understand the owners do not want to spend money on updating but then lower your rental price. The kitchen was well equipped. However the oven is in need of a good cleaning. I sound like our stay was not nice, it was but for the price not what you would expect. The location is very beautiful and the view to the ocean really nice.

Our Sea Pines vacation at 28 Duck Hawk

Upon arrival we where greeted by staff from Coastal Home and Villa to walk us through anything we may have questions about. Our pool had overheated and was 104 when we arrived but the staff quickly got the problem fixed but it still took 3 days for water to cool enough to enjoy as temps where over 90. House was great. Very well equipped kitchen, very comfortable, and very close to beach. We all really enjoyed the deck on the beach path. Nice size pool. Would rent again!

Wonderful Family Vacation Home

Our family, six adults and four children, recently spent a week in this beautiful home. The location and beach access were perfect. The pool was a big hit with everyone. The house was big enough to accommodate us comfortably, indoors and on the deck spaces. We did a lot of cooking but found the kitchen needed more utensils for food preparation. Overall, the home was a lovely place for our family to vacation.

Ladies tennis trip

We had 9 ladies for a girls trip - this house was PERFECT!! Plenty of room for everything. Nice kitchen. Pool is as nice as picture looks. Ocean view from house is even better than expected. Highly recommend!!
