My mom and I stayed here for a small getaway and this condo exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed, clean, beautiful views. We truly enjoyed every bit of our stay.

Stay at Ocean Dunes Villas ending 7-30-2026

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was excellent nice condo as described and location close to the beach was perfect. Just a couple small things. The sliding glass door did not lock and the smoke alarm went off when using a hair dryer.

We love HHI, we have stayed at Ocean Dunns many times before. This condo at first was great, great location. We made great memories. But the shower stopped working, the fridge went out, a living resident got out rate with me regarding laundry. The company of the property is managed through, gave us a small mini fridge and a portion of our food cost back but we lost hundreds of dollars in food, we had to through it all way. We got reimbursed for the laundry and they gave us 15% discount towards the room. The refund not enough to make us want to stay at this room again.

Excellent property! Clean and well appointed. Excellent location and easy beach access. Very responsive property manager to questions. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic location and oceanfront! Larger than the other 1 bedroom we stayed at. Loved all the hooks for hanging towels and things and extra baskets and bins for stowing away stuff so that it dodnt overcrowd the smaller space. Would love to stay again!

Love Hilton head

This is our third year staying at this property. We enjoy this day, although I wish they would’ve left more towels for eight days. It’s always a joy to visit.

Great place

The condo was small for 6 but the owners had baskets for our things and other nice accommodations. Very close to beach access and pool. Easy walk to shops and ice cream. We enjoyed our week there.

HHI 2023

Very nice, close to beach, pool not crowded. Only negative is having to use key to enter and exit condo, would be nice to have keyless entry

Great place!!!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay tremendously! We were able to sit on our balcony every night and watch the deer down below us as they ate. We were able to see the diving seagulls at the ocean as well. It is the perfect spot, in the perfect area. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home. This was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had!

Family Friendly Villa

The amenities are great for a young family - pool, beach, kitchenette plus the property had services for crib and toy rentals making traveling super easy and hassle-free. We would stay here again and highly recommend to others.

Perfect location with great view

We found this to be an absolutely perfect location (we took frequent walks and bike rides to Coligny square, and long bike rides along the beach to the southern tip of the island), with a beautiful view, a nice heated pool, and a grill area that we enjoyed using. The only things that could have made it better would be if it had electronic vs. key entry, and a more comfortable pull-out bed.

Great place

This was our second time to stay at this location. We find it to be in the perfect spot close to everything. We accidentally got locked out of the room and was stuck on the balcony. We called to get help. Help arrived within 30 minutes and we were so grateful! We cannot wait to come back for another 8 day vacation!

Great oceanfront villa!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great little condo with everything we needed. Beach chairs, and umbrella were perfect. Very comfortable and completely relaxing. It has all the comforts of home, especially in the kitchen. Floors could be cleaner but it’s an indoor outdoor house. The pool needs more umbrellas. Staff was excellent and always helpful. All in all a wonderful getaway.

This place is clean, and everywhere has beach accents. Even thoughtful notes from the owner of where to find things. Love being oceanfront and enjoying that view in the living room and sitting on the porch. It's close to the shops and the staff is great at welcoming you home when we visit! Love this place!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was beautiful, the condo was very musty and has wall AC units. I was having a hard time with the smell. It needs a dehumidifier in there, it felt like the bedding was damp from the humidity. In the master bedroom, the plantation shutters do not block out the light from the outside hall so the room is not dark and has light coming in. It also has no light but lamps in the living room. It needs a ceiling fan or a light on the ceiling. So you can’t play any games at night because you can’t see.

Have stayed in nicer units.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Non responsive or not much concern shown for complaints. The unit is small which is fine for two people but if you put six people in it there is no room for luggage. Slider door was missing a panel for privacy. You got one hot shower a day from the hot water heater. It smelled musty and like mildew. We removed the filters and they were awful. We have pictures of those. They did take care of that. They are non responsive over the weekends. Below it asked how we would like are name displayed. Trust me when I say it isn’t Stan P from Irvine,NA. What is that even. We love Ocean Dunes and have stayed before but will not go through Vacation Time Rentals again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: To Whom It May Concern,When my husband and I arrived in Room 220 July 22nd, it was not properly cleaned. We are not complaining people, but we were very unhappy when we checked into the room. I really think the owner should be informed.1. Silverware in drawer was put away with caked on food! Gross.2. Someone's old water bottle was between the bed and nightstand! How they put clean sheets on is beyond me.3. Dust under the bed has been there for some time.4. The front door always took minutes to try to open. That really needs to be changed.5. The sliding door and screen definitely needs to be replaced. Very difficult to move.6. Hairs all over the bathroom floor.
