Annual Family Trip to Sea Pines

We had a great week at 3 Belted Kingfisher. Great location in Sea Pines, close to the beach, with a great heated private pool. Generally well stocked and furnished, with plenty of space for our family of 6 and our fur baby. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice home! The updated kitchen was really nice and fully equipped. The floor plan is really nice for larger families.

Each bedroom has it's own bathroom and is newly renovated. It's clear the owners take pride in their property. I highly recommend it adn Coastal Villa was great to deal with.

Another return to Sea Pines

Our parents lived in Sea Pines from 1975 go 1997 so we have returned to rentals many times. There were four families close together so we spent wonderful mornings on the beach and great cocktail hours and catered dinners at 7 Seaside Sparrow.

Family vacation

Loved 3 Belted Kingfisher! The house was clean and beautifully decorated. The pool and outdoor space was awesome. Love that it was only short walking distance to beach. We had a great time! Sadly the place is rented for next year during the same week. We will be back and highly recommend a visit to 3 Belted Kingfisher! Thx!

Bedrooms all have a bathroom . Very handy . The pool area is laid out very well and is a couple of steps to the beach path . The pool was to in working order during our stay , bummer there . Close to South Beach always fun ! The only issue is the driveway . It’s configured in a pie shape . Made anything more than 2 cars a big problem . Also backing out was a struggle .

Easy to the beach, well furnished, very clean and modern and the pool is probably one of the best we have seen for a private home on the island. Well heated, and clean, others are drab and dreary this is a wonderful oasis in the back yard. BBQ is clean and works!!!, wonderful place and will be back again and again. Close to almost everything you will need, and still far away enough to enjoy some private time.

Beautiful property but many issues

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived for check-in at 4:00pm, and the cleaning crew was still finishing up and someone showed up to fix the front door keypad. We traveled a long distance with a baby, and we were sitting in our car for about 20 minutes waiting for everyone to finish up before being able to go inside. During our stay, we encountered a few things about the rental that were disappointing: one of the exterior doors to a bedroom would not lock, the front door keypad stopped working while we were at the beach, lights in certain rooms did not work, and the pool had several issues (leaking and not heated appropriately due to water getting added). There were contractors in and out during our stay attempting to rectify the issue with the pool. We located the leak for the pool and notified the property management company. The point of contact we spoke with was very responsive, professional, and apologetic. We spoke briefly about our disappointment with the issue, and he promised he would ask about partial compensation for our stay, but he never followed through. We certainly appreciated the responsiveness to our issues, but we were overall underwhelmed with the quality of the rental for the price, even in the off-season.

Very Comfortable and Well Appointed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has been vacationing in Sea Pines for about 40 years. Used to be twice a year, but now that the kids are all grown and working we have been doing an end of year family vacation here for the past ten years. This year our two week year end trip took us to 3 Belted Kingfisher. It is a beautiful and very well appointed home. A wine refrigerator and a separate beverage fridge, as well as a large stand-alone ice maker were welcome surprises. The large family room and the bright and welcoming Carolina Room made the house very welcoming and much more of a home away from home. Although a bit further from the beach than we are used to, the 4-5 minute walk down the path wasn't bad. The six of us (and our son's Golden Retriever Daisy) love the beach and we made two or three trips there each day. The mattress in the Master could have been more comfortable but, all in all, we were highly satisfied with the accommodations and location. The pool was lovely but only Daisy enjoyed the cool water. Needless to say, we will be booking next year's stay shortly.

Arriving this past February, we found that the exterior was freshly painted and the deck updated. So nice to see that the owners are maintaining it beautifully. The management company is excellent and even helped return something valuable that we had accidentally left at the property. Overall, a 5 star experience!

The home was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed to make our stay a great experience. We have been vacationing in Sea Pines since the mid-1970's so we know exactly what to do, where to go, and what to expect. Bike riding, beach play with the dogs, shopping and dining were all amazing. The one or two small issues we had were very quickly addressed by Coastal Home & Villa. We'll be back next year.
