Sea Pines Paradise!

This beautiful and comfortable home was perfect for our family beach vacation. The pool was refreshing and fun in the mornings and in the evenings after spending a few hours at the beach. We loved the bike trails and the walk ability to Salty Dog area. We never left the area all week!

Everything was excellent, the only disappointment was the pool was not heated and was non usable. If they have to charge more for heating the pool they should..

Family Vacay

We loved the house and the location. The kitchen was well equipped. The pool was bigger than we expected. It was a very short walk to the beach. One of our favorite houses we’ve rented in Hilton Head!

Spring Break 2 families with teens

Great property to house 2 families, total of 8 people. 4 adults and 4 teens. Good location, short walk across the street to the beach and short walk/bike to Salty Dog and SouthBeach Racquet Club. Lovely kitchen and outdoor grill for cooking, nice big dinning room table for dinner and games and great living room where everyone can sit together and watch movies at night. Beach towels and chairs were made available which was really nice. The pool was very cold (owners don’t allow it to be heated for renters) so kids didn’t use it much so don’t rent the house for the pool this time of year (we picked the house because of the hot tub since they did allow us to pay for heat). Unfortunately the hot tub only worked part of the time but management company was SUPER great at attending to the hot tub to get it to heat. Overall great management company - easy to get a hold of someone and very responsive. The main reason for our trip was golf and tennis. Lots of golf courses close by where you can schedule tee times way in advance. Be careful to read the fine print on tennis. There is no free tennis time at either Racquet club (South Beach 2 min bike or Sea Pines 20 min bike by Harbor Town). Both places you can book 2hrs but just know you have to pay for that time and you can only reserve 24hrs in advance so you have to really be on top of it to reserve courts - especially for us given it was one of the busiest times of the year. Tennis/Pickleball overall was great at both Racquet clubs. Depending on the rental company you book through you can get an amenities card - free for fitness center, up to 2 hrs/day court time, etc. Coastal Home & Villas does NOT offer the amenities card. Overall great house and always appreciate families letting us use their precious investment to create memories for our family! Thank you!

Great location with lots of room

We love our annual vaca with our twin granddaughters and dil. This year we chose this house and were very happy to have the extra room. The house has a lot of nice features with the large pool, to-die-for thermidor stove, beach proximity and close to salty dog area. There does need to be some TLC ; the carpet needed cleaning or replaced with vinyl, deck needed pressure washing, but all things considered, it was a fantastic place for us to stay.

Great Beach Week

Great spacious house a close walk to the beach. Perfect for a week long visit for our family of 5. We all were able to spread out but the house also had great gathering spaces as well. The house is an easy walk to the beach as well as The Salty Dog just up the street. We thought we would be renting bikes but never needed the, due to the close proximity of everything we needed. The towel and linen service is a Bo us as you do not have to wash anything prior to departure or strip the beds. The only thing I wish was that house include$ beach towels. The rental company dropped off 5 beach towels but for the rental price these should be included. The only other minor complaint was the cleanliness of the pool. Although it is expected to have pines needles drop in the pool on a daily basis, the pool could reallly use a good cleaning. The bottom was filled with debris and the pool did not have one of the robotic vacuum systems nor did it appear to have been cleans prior to our arrival.

Excellent property mgmt

We had a few surprises when we arrived which the property manager addressed immediately. There were only four wine glasses and four dessert forks and no serving trays or bowls when we arrived. The pool and decks were a mess too, but heavy winds likely contributed the day before we arrived. All these shortcomings were addressed within 24 hours by the property manager. Thank you! It’s been a couple of decades since we’ve been to Hilton Head. Sea Pines Drive is much busier now. This property backs on to Sea Pines drive which was noisier than expected with traffic. Otherwise, it is relatively close to the beach and to South Beach tennis facilities and a short bike ride to Harbour Town for the Heritage Classic.

Lovely Home Near The Beach

Well located, easy to find, outstanding property management! When we did not receive our car passes, the contact addressed promptly and efficiently so our check-in was smooth. The home is located on a corner lot with a nice buffer from the street, however, the car lights at night were a significant factor shining in the back bedroom windows. Perhaps room darkening shades would eliminate that issue. The home is bright, well lit and updated. The areas inside were clean and well maintained with the exception of 3 burned out light bulbs...which we replaced; a common issue we have encountered with other rentals. The kitchen was open and easy to use. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with towels. The outdoor pool area was fine for our group and our little granddaughter certainly enjoyed it daily! The hot tub was very small...almost too small for 4 adults. We did pay the extra amount for heating it but it was quite frustrating figuring out the turn on turn off instructions. They appeared clear but attempting to follow them was difficult. We did have to call mid-week when we could not get it turned back on and the gentleman who came out told us he "reset" the touch pad and explained it an entirely different way. We did get our use of it. A short walk across the street led to the beach which was wide and white sand! Our stay was very nice and we would go back to Sea Pines again, especially since there is much less traffic on that end versus the other end! We rent through VRBO and Home Away very frequently. We travel world wide. This home was the sparsest we'd ever been to with regards to what was available to use. The bed linens were the cheapest available, the dust ruffle in the master kept falling off the bed...it wasn't even a full piece. NO BEACH TOWELS, NO POOL OR BEACH TOYS OR CHAIRS, NO KITCHEN ITEMS NOT EVEN SALT AND PEPPER. We drove so thankfully had the opportunity to bring those items with us. However, if one would be flying, you would have to purchase or rent all these items which could be expensive and just plain inconvenient. For that reason and the issues with the hot tub, we would not return to this property. On the plus side, the location is great in Sea Pines and the Property Management was one of the best we've ever encountered! We would highly recommend them!

Distance Learning

We had a wonderful time taking the kids and doing distance learning from a distance. The house was amazing and well stocked in the kitchen. The location to the beach could not be beat. The pool was awesome only wish the mosquitoes were a little less so we could have enjoyed the pool and deck more. Costal Villas were amazing and responded quickly with any concerns. Our family vacation

We enjoyed the property, the pool, and the proximity to the beach! It was our first time staying near the South Beach area and we enjoyed our daily bike rides to the South Beach Marina. The house was gorgeous and more than enough for our family! The house was clean and spacious! We cannot wait to come back!

House was great, watch for small charges not included

The house was great. The staff we worked with was very accommodating and responsive. Our only complaint, as minor as it is, is that the hot tub advertised didn't come heated. Despite the ad showing a spa being included, we had to pay an extra $45 a day to have it heated. While I understand the additional charge to heat the pool, having to pay to heat the HOT tub was disappointing. Other than that, we were very happy with everything else!

Great layout, great location, but missing some of the basics that a long-term rental should have

We Loved the Location Outdoor show was fantastic! Bathrooms all very nice - we did miss a full bath in the 2nd master down-stairs We have rented over 25 homes in HHI. We were very surprised by some of the restrictions and "lack of the basics" for the money we spent on a multi-week stay. Examples: No access to the Garage!! - no beach towels, no chairs, no bikes, minimal water toys, no spices, no salt and pepper, no windex, no cleaning supplies - having to buy all of that was a pain. Awesome Location! Leaking Pool was very painful. Had to run the hose for 2 weeks - not good, and had no access to the hot tub one day, because it was empty and none of the controls worked for 3 days, which was a minor inconvience. Overall, we did LOVE the Place and would love to come back due to the upgrades, location, bathrooms, and outdoor shower. THANK YOU - BEN DYL (201-852-2342)

Great House close to Tower Beach

This is a really cool house with a very large pool. Very easy walk (literally across the street) for Tower Beach access. Only drawback is the downstairs guest bedroom (not the master) has no closet nor very much drawer space, and the kitchen is not "open" to the main living room (nor is the dining room). But whatever - we would absolutely go back!!

Annual Family Vacation

Our family comes to HHI every year and normally we stay at Palmetto Dunes and considered it the best place until we were pleasantly surprised with our stay at Sea Pines. The house was just as described, Gorgeous, and plenty big enough for our big family. The kids loved the huge pool and we were so excited the walk to the beach was basically across the street. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.
