We stayed here for the second time and it was still charming and comfortable! Love the proximity to the beach, yet woodsy enough to feel secluded. I don't know of future Hilton Head plans, but I know that I won't stay anywhere else.

Fun stay in Hilton Head

Our family of four (two teens) really enjoyed our stay here. We love the outdoors, so easy beach access and easy access to the Sea Pines Preserve were perfect for our family. The condo has all the basics you'll need for a home base while you explore the island. It's next to the pool which is perfect in warmer temps.

The location is great but the villa is pretty shabby - no amenities - towels and the 1 dish towel have permanent spots. Sheets are very worn as well as the rugs. Didn’t feel like it had been cleaned.

Enjoyed our stay. Sleeps 8 is a stretch since 2 cannot sleep comfortably on pull out couch. We appreciated and used the welcome gifts. Most of the property in good working order.

Charming

We had a fabulous stay. The house is charming & very well done. The location absolutely cannot be beat. This was our first time going to HHI and we saw that being in the Sea Pines area is the best. Not crowded. Quiet. The house was comfortable & very clean. The upstairs was quite cool & good for sleeping. If you like to bake when you travel (ie: muffins or brownies) bring your own pans. There were plenty of pots but only a tiny cookie sheet for 6 cookies. (Later in the week we did find a 8"round pan). We took advantage of the generously free bikes & umbrella set. Perfect! If we ever go back to HHI, I know exactly where we'll stay! Thank you.

Great location next to community pool and a 7 minute walk from a less crowded beach area. About a 10 minute casual walk on the beach from Coligny Beach. Plenty of nice Restaurants within 15 minute driving distance depending on traffic. Nice shaded walking and bike trails. It’s very naturalistic area so yes prepare for mosquitos but that should be expected. Only drawback I had was when I booked I didn’t realize it was all on the second floor. Which was rough on my knees and my senior dogs hips. My Biggest complaint was the stay wasn’t long enough 😁

Nice Place and Great Location

We stay on Hilton Head a lot, love all of the places we stay and this was no exception. Short walk to the beach and location right next to Ocean gate is very convenient. Well maintained property.

Great Stay

This home is very close to the beach and the community pool. You can easily walk to both. The house was clean and the decor was nice. The AC worked great as did the fans. The washer and dryer are new as are the appliances in the kitchen. The pots and pans could be updated. The shower pressure in both bathrooms were great. Overall we would stay here again!

Last minute get away

Previous reviews are accurate. Lots of nature to take in. Short 10 minute walk to the beach. Beach was not crowded and very relaxing. Property management team was very responsive and very helpful.

No peace & quiet

Unfortunately there was a kids day camp directly behind this villa for the 2 weeks we were there. From between 7:30am-9am until 5pm, M-F, lots of kids were screaming - and I do mean screaming! There were loud speaker announcements & sometimes even music broadcasted! Forget about sleeping in, breakfast or lunch on the deck or even having open windows. We offered to move to another location but Patti @ HHI Prop said that was not a possibility. Her solution - don't be at the villa during those hours! She had no idea what was going on which means there is no way for you to know if you'll get to have the same experience. The villa itself was adequate but in need of a deep cleaning & some TLC. It was next to the pool & an easy walk to the beach.

We were greeted with roaches everywhere and the front porch deck needed some work. There were some boards that were rotten and just the screws were sticking out. We called the property manager the next morning and she promptly took care of the situation. They moved us immediately to a different location and it was excellent. We were in a much better place and it was oceanfront!!!

Great location and service to detail!

We were very happy with this rental. Loved being tucked in the trees with the beach at a short walk away. The pool was refreshing and the property was beautiful! Would love to compliment DARCY with her attention to quick service. Woke the first day to a broken coffee maker and within an hour, a brand new one delivered right away. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Villa was so clean upon arrival. We enjoyed the informational notebook providing all necessary details down to the history of the island. So interesting. Even the selection of paperbacks on the bookshelf was perfect. We will be returning!

Beautiful property

This property is beautifully updated, well stocked, and very clean! We stayed as a family with my two teenage children and had more than enough space to spread out. The property is located right next to the pool which was such easy access and never very busy. An easy 5-10 minute shady walk to the gorgeous beach! These properties look like treehouses which adds to the ambiance of the stay! Love the keyless entry which made checking in and out a breeze! No keys to keep track of during our stay either! No complaints!

Comfortable and relaxing

We loved the bungalow and all its amenities. Within walking distance to the beach and the pool was literally steps away. We had a great time and really liked the “beachy” feel. The air conditioning always felt wonderful after coming in from the hot outside. It was clean and comfortable, always important when on vacation. We will definitely be back to HHI and book this property.

This was a last minute trip. We did have some issues with check in through the property company. It was a bit stressful and not fun to deal with. Other than that incident, we had a great stay and the property itself was wonderful.

Fun time for our family!

My husband and three kids (age 5 and under) really enjoyed our stay! We loved biking to the beach and even to other hot spots in the area. The kids also loved the little pool next door to the property. Such a clean and cute place!

Worst home we have stayed at on the island in years

When we got into the property there was a horrible smell of fish and mold. The smoke alarm was beeping because no one had changed the battery. The dishwasher had 2 inches of standing water and smelled awful when you open when you opened it. The screen door to porch was broken. The bathtub drain didn’t close. The dryer never shut off, it would run continually until you manually turn it off. There was trash all over the yard from an animal getting in there at night and it happened every night we were there. The garbage disposal wasn’t operational and the trash in both bathrooms hadn’t been emptied from previous visitors. We found dirty earplugs on the ground and sand and other trash under the beds. The bikes that we had ordered through management company were so rusty that we couldn’t adjust the seats. I had to call the management company daily to update them of each of these things as we found them and requested a refund for a minimum of the cleaning fee (hefty fees were charged up front with this company as opposed to a security deposit that we would get back), and they have done absolutely nothing except give me an attitude when I contacted them. Never again and so not recommend staying at this property or renting through Their management company.

Long Weekend in Hilton Head

This was our first trip to Hilton Head. We enjoyed our home away from home, especially the distance to the pool and ocean. An 8 minute walk in the shade to such a beautiful and quiet beach.
