This beautiful home exceeded our expectations in every way. It is spacious, well appointed and has everything you need to ensure a fun time. The pool was incredible but often kept us from exploring the beach which was an easy walk. All of the equipment was very much appreciated

Our family of all ages totally enjoyed and were so impressed with every aspect of this house and property surrounding it. The love, care, and southern hospitality showed by the property owners was displayed in so many ways. Everyone voted to stay at 19 Sandpiper next year!!

Family fun

Plannned a family trip to Hilton Head with kids, their spouses, and grandkids. Age range 10 months and up to seniors. Something for all of us. Outdoor amenities were beautiful, used the pool every day, added heat for the 10 month olds first pool experience. Indoor house was beautiful and so comfortable. Kids loved the window seats in living room, spaces for everyone to hang out. Huge table for family meals, we had 9. The quiet beach just steps away was perfect. Hope to be back!

Beautiful Home with a Great Location

This home was by far one of the nicest properties we have stayed at with plenty of space for our group of 15. The house and yard were very clean and well-maintained. It was stocked with everything we needed for a great vacation including numerous welcome gifts. The overall location was perfect, it was a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and shops.

Amazing property!

Rental experience cover-to-cover was flawless. The property boasted all the little extra details that made the stay such a success. The outdoor spaces were well planned and the indoor accommodations were the right balance of luxury and convenience. We had 8 adults and 4 children and could not have selected a better property. There is zero need to find any other beach house to rent - 19 Sandpiper is exactly what you are looking for!

Everything you’d ever want or need is at this very special house. No detail is lacking. We did have issues with the spa heating, however the property manger addressed it as soon as we brought it to there attention.

19 Sandpiper

My whole family of sixteen really enjoyed 19 Sandpiper! The new house and amenities were perfect for all ages. The floor plan was excellent for all to gather to eat, two masters on the main floor were practical, the two fridges were smart by the homeowner and needed for a large family, and we loved the proximity to the beach/bike/walking greenway and Coligny Plaza. The only complaint the kids had was that the pool water temperature was on the hot side. Other than that, the pool/outdoor area was so relaxing with ample seating, an umbrella that could shade chairs or be placed in the pool to cover the shallow end, and the covered pavilion with swivel chairs and a TV and outdoor shower were very nice touches. The screened porch was also great for supper dining with no bugs or to watch kids in the pool while playing card games. 19 Sandpiper was a wonderful vacation home for our large family! The one adult complaint I have and why I didn’t rate this 5 stars was the booking company (The Vacation Company). I had several conversations with them a year prior to our trip when I booked the property and during our stay. The policy to book next year was explained that the current renter had until Monday after departure to rent the same week for next summer. I even called a Vacation Company rep during our stay to confirm this because my family was ready to book again for Summer 2021. I called to book after we departed as I was told I could, and then was told the property had already been rented out next summer and I wouldn’t be able to book the property for that same week. I was told it was actually rented online 3 weeks before our trip. The rep said that due to cancellations from the pandemic, policies had changed to make back some money. I asked why this wasn’t shared with me, even after I had called during our stay, and she said she didn’t know why it wasn’t shared with me. I felt like that was bad customer service when representatives answering calls aren’t aware of policies, and I also felt like my family came and rented the house during the pandemic when others had canceled, and preferences were made for future renters instead of my family that didn’t cancel. My family loves Hilton Head Island, and we love all it has to offer with golf, biking, tennis, and family friendly activities without feeling like we are sardines on a beach. We will be going back next summer, but sadly renting from another rental property.

Perfect Rental

Everything was perfect about this house and location. The easy 2 block walk to the beach and the short bike rides to Coligny Plaza was fun. The amenities of this property were superior, the pool was just the right size and we needed the elevator for grandpa. It was a wonderful week, wish we could do it every year!

Perfect beach house!

Can’t say enough good things about 19 Sandpiper. The interior is well laid out and spacious, and everything is of the highest quality. The outdoor space is amazing as well. In many other of the large Hilton Head houses, the pool area is jammed into a tiny lot. But the outdoor space is fantastic here, with a great pool and sitting area. And the outdoor fire pit, gazebo and huge TV are amazing, and a fantastic place to spend the evening. We can’t wait to come back!
