Great stay at a great price

Wonderful spot with all the comforts of home

Great view and lots of attention to detail by the owners. Very helpful and communicative. Would certainly stay here again on our next visit to the area...if we can snag it before anyone else does!

Beautiful view

I would like to start out with complementing the owner with their communication. The view from the home is beautiful of the mountains however, I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the chalet. I made our reservation based on her many wonderful reviews however, the cleanliness was lacking. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, dead bugs along the baseboards, dirty pans in cupboards etc. Conditioner, shampoo and soap were provided but they had not been refilled and there was a crusted over layer on top of each in the container. Metal and plastic circular staircase never felt very stable. The handrail had been welded in sections to make it fit. Very dated and needs some TLC. Hostess was very communicative and flexible. When I messaged her about the cleanliness, she even offered for her cleaning lady to come by. I declined due to already unpacking and in the middle of Thanksgiving preparations.

Loved our stay

The house was exactly as described and perfect for our long weekend getaway. There was lots of areas for hiking nearby and perfectly located for a day in Mt Airy. Comfy beds, nice big towels, great shower water pressure, well stocked kitchen, lovely views, easy parking at the house, We’d definitely stay here again.

Location long way out from anything😕

Scenery was beautiful! Had trouble with lock on door to get in. We drove all day and very tired. Finally got in house and looked forward to lighting wood fireplace however NO wood😞 sat down to watch tv but not working! Went to Mt Airy next day and bought batteries for tv which was the problem. We did enjoy stay but as stated it’s 24 miles to Mt Airy. I would also suggest mats in tubs since it’s very slick. Again beautiful spot

Chalet Bliss

Beautiful Chalet. Very clean with a gorgeous view of a small valley with tennis court and pond. We witnessed several deer visiting the pond. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting this property again.

Need to let people know about it’s not handicap friendly . A lot of steps also bath tub need a protection mat keep from slipping . Way out from any place to get food so make sure u get before heading to condo. Sitting out on deck seeing deer and beautiful mountains Was fantastic . Great directiions

Host very responsive

Property was nice it needs some TLC. We were visiting Mt Airy for outdoor concert at Blackmon Amphitheater to experience a time of our lives with Envision R&B and Pop music Group. We visited The Andy Griffin Playhouse so informative. Not many many eateries. Host answered and responded each time I reached out.

Awesome Stay

My wife and I spent a weekend at this awesome Chalet. It is situated on a prestine meadows overlooking the mountain. It has enough accommodation at least 6. The whole leaving room has windows wall to wall with the view of the mountain. You will love the sunshine in the morning. The amenities in the house meticulously organized. You have everything you need. Las but not least Miriam is an awesome hostess. She is extremely organized and engaging. From the time we booked the Chalet she had been providing us with valuable information. She made sure we checked in properly. She is awesome. I will definitely recommend this Chalet if you quiet and peace and a prestine atmosphere. We will definitely going back👍👍

Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this lovely little chalet. Despite the owner’s suggestion in the rental information we did arrive a little after dark so the roads were a bit daunting if you’re not used to mountain driving. Once we arrived the little community was perfect. Directions were easy to follow & check in was easy. Beds were comfy and rooms were cozy. We especially enjoyed the down comforters while watching movies and eating popcorn. It was the perfect little getaway for our long weekend in Mt Airy & Fancy Gap.
