Mountain Time Off the Parkway near Fancy Gap VA

  • Muy bonita casa espaciosa de 2 habitaciones y 2 baños ubicada en la comunidad Ground Hog Mountain Doe Run. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama king size y se encuentra en el primer piso. Situado justo al lado de la avenida en una hermosa y tranquila comunidad. Varias excelentes vistas de las montañas y el Piamonte a poca distancia de la casa. Nuestra casa está a 20 minutos de Main Street Downtown Mount Airy.

    Despiértese por la mañana para tomar su café en la terraza trasera privada que se encuentra en los árboles del patio trasero. Pase su día caminando por los senderos cercanos o pasee en bicicleta por la ruta verde, visite el histórico Mabry Mill, (disponible para el desayuno y el almuerzo) Bodega Chateau Morrisette, (catas de vino, almuerzo o cena) Campo de golf Old Mill, (golf, desayuno, almuerzo, cena) Old North State Winery, (ubicado en Mount Airy NC disponible para catas, almuerzos y cenas). Primland, (un resort muy exclusivo para golf, servicios de spa o un almuerzo o cena romántica) y la ciudad de Floyd VA está muy cerca. ! También hay 2 fábricas de cerveza ubicadas en Mount Airy, en Main Street. Thirsty Souls y The White Elephant !! Los folletos informativos se encuentran en el hogar en todos los lugares mencionados anteriormente y más para su conveniencia. Si no quiere salir de la casa está completamente equipada con todas las ollas, sartenes, platos, etc. que necesita para cocinar. Hay un televisor ubicado en la sala de estar con un sofá acogedor y sillón reclinable cerca de una chimenea con leños de gas. Tenemos muchos DVD en casa y varios juegos para pasar la noche. También hay canchas de baloncesto y canchas de tenis ubicadas en el centro comunitario del vecindario.

Great for a long weekend!

Amazing house, fall is great time to visit. Pictures are very accurate. Internet is not good and there is no cell service. Getting unplugged for a while was great. Thanks we will be back.

Birthday getaway

The cabin is very beautiful and will definitely stay again. Great communication with owner. Was close to Mount Airy. Went to The Depot restaurant and Shelton vineyards highly recommend. Visited the Andy Griffith museum and The Loaded Goat restaurant in Mt. Airy food was great. Great birthday getaway.

Cozy home away from home

This home was gorgeous! Our friend group who traveled from 2 different states enjoyed a wonderful girls weekend. The house was pristine and included anything you could think of. It even was decorated for fall. All instructions were very clear. We were away from the hustle and bustle but a short drive to local attractions. Cannot wait to book our next stay!

Quite location, lovely home.

The house was lovely. It's located in a quite neighborhood. The host was promt on answering questions. The house was well stocked with towels and such. The only negative is the internet was extremely slow, which caused the tv to buffer. There are DVDs at the house but nothing for little kids. If you really want to disconnected, this house is perfect.

Amazing Place

This house is beautiful. We found it clean and smelling nice. It was really cool because in the kitchen all cabinets were labeled so it made things easy when needing something. It was fully stocked. The only thing lacking was a TV in the main floor master bedroom but not necessarily a bad thing if you are seeking quiet. This place is in a neat neighborhood with views. If visiting in Winter months a 4 wheel drive is advisable. This house is wooded in the backyard and there are homes on either side but did not bother us. In the summer the trees would obstruct the view. It rained all weekend but there is a beautiful deck that we did not get to enjoy. There is a gas grill. We have decided that we would love to visit this property again late Summer or early Fall.

Great cabin for family getaway

The cabin was so clean and furnished very well. Beds were comfortable and the deck was huge. So many extras on hand, coffee, filters, paper towels, sugar, salt, condiments etc. We loved our stay there and would definitely go back

Perfect location!

The property is perfectly located near the blue ridge parkway. You are only a short drive from Mt. Airy, Mt. Pilot, and Floyd, VA, and I highly recommend visiting those towns. The house was very clean and equipped with everything you need. The gas fireplace was perfect for the cold and cozy nights we had in the mountains. The only complain we have was the queen bed upstairs and was a little uncomfortable but my wife and I still slept ok while we were there. My family and I would recommend this place and we would stay there again.

Great Location--View

Everything was just like the description & our view across the road was stunning! We chose a great time to go. There was a lot more to see & do in the location that we stayed in than we thought there would be. A very memorable vacation & would do it again!

Quiet Get-away

Relaxing home. Close to a lot of activities. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Just bring your own cork screw. 🍷

Very Relaxing

We relaxed the entire week, and didn’t do much more than picnic on the parkway and drive over to Meadows of Dan. The house is very clean and cozy, a great area for families!

Weekend get away

Overall pleased. Easy process. Downstairs bed wasn’t very comfortable, but I’ve come to expect that. A few spiders in the house, but that’s expected with the location.

Girls mountain escape

House was very clean, well stocked and cozy ! Good location to go to the Music Center and Mabry Mills . Owner responded quickly to all questions ! Good time was had by all !
