Owner sent me the wrong address and wrong code for rental. I emailed through VRBO app at 6:00 a.m. the day of check in to indicate something was wrong. No response. There were 2 contact numbers listed, I called both multiple times for the three days we were supposed to be there and no one EVER answered or returned a call. We went to the address given. We were able to enter. It was not what I rented, someone had recently checked out and it had not been cleaned. There was a pair of mens underwear in the middle of the living room floor, sheets/towels in the floor and dirty dishes in the sink. No cell service which meant we had to drive 20 minutes into town and 20 minutes back to try and get the property owner to take a call. The owner refunded our money on the day we would have checked out and indicated I "refused to move". That was inaccurate as he would never respond other than to say the correct property was less than 1/2 mile away. That was great to know but we never got a code or any other information that would assist us in getting to the place we rented. I have done VRBO for years and never experienced anything even remotely similar to this experience.
