This was a fantastic house for our family reunion. It comfortably accomodated our group of 16. The kitchen was well appointed, beds clean and the game room, pool, extensive outdoor space and beautiful surroundings made this a truly memorable stay! The location is very convenient to Portland. Hosts were very responsive. Highly recommend!

Plan to Dine Out

My advice to future guests: Don’t plan to eat in unless you plan to wash dishes by hand. And check the host isn’t overcharging tax.After rebooking to shorten from 7 nights to 6, the host’s revised invoice increased the tax from the expected 10.5% to 15%. After 3 rounds of questioning, the host stated the numbers on the receipt are accurate and punted to VRBO support, who explained the host is responsible. I later spoke with Assistant Manager and Director at the host, who both blamed newer/untrained staff and left the tax dispute to resolve via my CC.During our stay, 3 items (gas cooktop, dishwasher, BBQ grill) needed service. NOT breakdowns just not maintained and tested. See pic captions for details. Host issued partial refund, not reflecting our time reporting and working around issues, plus 3 follow-up phone to rehash all. We felt like unwitting participants in a soft launch of the rental.To bring this property to the level premium listing, the owner could add a countertop microwave to complement the built-in just 13 INCHES OFF THE FLOOR, [pic], an simple electric tea kettle, and stock enough coffee pods to last 4 days.Host emphasizes they are a small business dependent on 5-star reviews, yet no apology from the host’s regional franchise owners, after escalating thru 2 layers of management who empathized but dismissed. I deducted 1 star for not fully preparing the property and 1 star for the host ping-ponging to me call VRBO and my CC about their issues.
The only microwave is 13 inches (!!) off the floor
The dishwasher needed leveling for the door to latch and start the cycle
The grill maxed at 180 degrees due to caked burners and misconnected propane tank.
Only 2 of the 5 cooktop burners had working igniters. Not just an inconvenience, but a safety issue.

Beautiful Farm Style Home

Communication with property managers was great from beginning to end very responsive. The property is beautiful and peaceful tucked away from the street and hustle of it all. The space was more than enough throughout the home for everyone to not feel cramped. The games and activities were a great addition.

The process from beginning to end was excellent. The online reservations was easy, check in with easy, the property that was immaculate. The property was just as advertised. Very easy, worthwhile, restful, and everything we expected.

Lovely Property

There were 16 of us in our party, ranging in ages from 11 to 89. The home was clean and very well set up. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, the property, and the area. Would 100% recommend staying here. There were some minor issues that we experienced, but management was super quick to respond and resolve. Our biggest complaint is that we had to leave!

Work and Play

As we work hard and play harder, this place was great. We used this house for offsite retreat for a few executives. They were able to hunker down, get work done and play some games. Lots of space to spread out.

We booked the location to accommodate a leadership offsite and the house was perfect for it! There are a lot of places to be so it never felt cramped and there was even office spaces for working. It is a beautiful home!

Tranquil!

We had the most amazing time at Roloff Farms. The farm staff were super friendly and management really made us feel at home by providing a welcome sign accompanied by a beautiful bottle of wine that we enjoyed on the first night. Any of the questions we had were answered immediately. The beds were extremely comfortable and the game room was a great place to spend time! The sunsets on this property were absolutely stunning! We will definitely be back.

A Fantastic Stay at a Beautiful Property

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property! The host was great and the space was perfect for our family and friends to come together and make memories. The property was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We also really enjoyed learning about the Roloff family and the history of the property. The location was also convenient and made it easy for us to explore the surrounding area. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend this property to others.

An Exclusive Country Setting

Your farm house provided the perfect setting to gather with family. The house was amazing, the fireplaces made it cozy and even with a large group everyone could easily find their own space. Having three en-suite bedrooms was a big plus as it afforded privacy for everyone. We found the beds comfortable and the rooms spacious. We had two children in our group and appreciated all the activities that were available - the pool table, board games, the garage with the rec area, the craft room, and of course when our grandsons discovered the Nintendo & game chairs in their room they were thrilled! We also appreciated the well equipped kitchen. Loved the porch! We also enjoyed the generous green space in the backyard. Our daughter and son-in-law brought their mini Aussie and she enjoyed the running space. We also appreciated the quick response we received with questions we had before arriving & during our stay. All in all, we are certain this rental will meet or exceed expectations.
