Location was perfect for us. We were only a 1/4 mile from access to ATV trails and routes. Six miles from Mt. Meadows Store/Cafe with food and gas! Eight to nine miles from Hill City which has everything you need! The house worked out perfect for us on our UTV trip with 4 couples. Everything was positive with the house! (Wifi, TV channel options, outdoor seating, outdoor cooking, inside seating, inside cooking, etc.) Very quiet and peaceful. Saw numerous deer in the yard. Spent a lot of time sitting outside under the deck. It was relaxing, peaceful, and had a cool breeze all the time! Would highly recommend this place. If there was a downfall it would be the steep driveway. But it does have ample parking for trucks and trailers, and we had 4 of each! Thank you so much for an enjoyable trip to the Black Hills!

Amazing Hills Property

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your amazing Black Hills property. Close to Hill City but far enough away to have peace and quiet. Plenty of things to do within minutes of this beatiful area. Deerfield Lake is a must. Everything was clean and very well stocked. The host Jamie is great if you need anything.

Family trip for Thanksgiving

Black Hills excursion

We came for a family vacation with a schedule full of day trips. The house was clean and ready for our stay. The house is a little dated, but had everything you would need. It was well stocked with many necessities, and many we didn't expect, we were even able to make a batch of cookies with the ingredients found on a rainy day. 90% of our trips took us to, or through Hill City first, it was about a fifteen minute drive, then we would continue to our destination, so it was a tad out of the way, but it is a pleasant drive, which we did a lot of, so the extra drive time didn't bother us. There is daily wildlife visitors, it was nice to see the deer, turkey, and rabbit. We spotted a group of elk just a few miles from the property, the only elk we saw on the trip! We would recommend the property, and definitely stay there again.

Hill City Stay

This property was perfect for us. Deer were seen nightly. House had everything you would ever need. Would recommend to anyone wanting a getaway. We came during the Sturgis rally and this was a good central location for riding.

Black Hills family vacation

Absolutely wonderful mountain cabin! Central location made it easy to explore the Black Hills, but out of town meant space for the kids to play and quiet nights. Plenty of space for all 3 families, well stocked kitchen, lots of games, great deck for lounging, and wildlife, too. It does not get any better than this! Thank you, Jamie, for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

Great hide away

The ease and communication through checkin to check out was great! The house had literally everything and more (with exception of a dish washer). The house was in perfect condition and very very clean! Ample towels, blankets, games (inside and out!) and other little amenities. It was nice to come back to a place where we did not need to worry about the noise our kids might make after many long days touring/sightseeing. Enjoyed coffee on the porch listening to the birds and turkeys. We really enjoyed our time in the area and the house! Hill City has a lot to offer. We can’t wait to come back!

Great Location

We had everything we needed for our stay. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds & their own area to watch movies & play games. We had time to grill out & enjoy the outdoors at the property. The fire pit was nice at night. It was easy to find and had beautiful view. We will book again.

Nice cabin with a beautiful view

Awesome stay at this cabin. I enjoyed the beautiful view, I could see deer coming and going every day and even saw some wild turkeys come through the yard. I was able to relax on the deck, which was nice and warm even though it was cool outside. Nice and remote, yet easy to get to Hill City and Rapid from here. This place had a solid internet connection, so I was able to work remotely during the day and catch up on shows at night. I also was able to make use of the fully equipped kitchen and the gas grill for the meals I didn't eat in town. Plenty of space too, if someone wanted to bring their family. I will definitely be booking again!
