We stayed four nights in September. The house is very nice, right on the water, clean, unique, furnished very well. Close to town. We would definitely stay here again.

Lakeside

The house was quaint and full of all the amenities needed. The yard lovely and the fall leaves were beautiful! We especially enjoyed walks and seeing the ducks. Perfect vacation.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was perfect for us. We attended a wedding at Old Edwards and we were so close to town. My son even caught a few fish right in the back yard.

Mirror Lake cottages

The main house was nice! The smaller cabin wasn’t great, but we had a delightful time anyway. The hammock, canoe, paddle boat, dock, and lovely landscaping added a lot to our enjoyment.

Best of Highlands!!!

Gosh this place was perfect!! So quaint and charming and on a quiet street four minutes from Main Street! We enjoyed canoeing on mirror lake and sitting in the back room looking out the windows at the scenery! Can’t wait to come back!!

Sweet spot on the lake

We loved this rental! The location was great—a beautiful and relaxing spot that we enjoyed in all kinds of weather. The cozy sunroom was nice for views of the lake on a rainy day. We spent a lot of time in the lovely backyard. The extra space that the additional small cabin provided was a big bonus. We hope to rent this property again.

Everything was great!

We had kids and grandchildren at this home on Mirror Lake. The house was comfortable, particularly the sunroom overlooking the lake. We had brought kayaks and were able to use their canoe and their paddle boat. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking ware and plates. The location is very close to the center of Highlands.

Fun family get together

Even though we visited over a very rainy weekend, our family had a wonderful time. Having a living room and a sunroom was a great bonus. Some people could talk and visit, while others could play noisy games, and neither group disturbed the other, but were still in close proximity. The patio with the fire pit and the swing looked like they would be amazing in the right weather.

Simply Magical ✨

We visit Highlands often (2-3x yr) and this was one of the best places we have stayed! Best way to describe it is simply magical! The house sits so peacefully on Mirror Lake it feels like you are in another world. Our kids were obsessed with taking the canoe out every morning and going fishing. The property is also less than 5 min from town making it super convenient. The cottage itself was clean and cozy. Our favorite spot was of course the all seasons porch overlooking the lake. If you are looking for a quiet cottage with serene water views but still have access to all of Highlands amenities, this is the spot for you! We will definitely be back!

Felt like the movie "The Holiday"

This house was wonderful! Everything about is perfect. Location is a nice walk into town. Very close if driving. Beautifully decorated. Everything done with close attention to details. The view of the lake is mesmerizing. Watching the ducks was such fun! Enjoyed the inside fireplace as well as the outside firepit. The owner has everything you could possibly need provided. She was so nice to get in touch with me personally in case we had questions, which we had a few. Very guick response. Will definitely return here as soon as possible

This is a beautiful setting and fantastic house. We really annoyed the lake (2 canoes and pedal boat included) and the easy access to town. The house has every amentity and is perfectly clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and again.

This house is cute! Very clean and rooms were just as described. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were very nice and had everything we needed. Setting is perfect, close to the water! Canoe and paddle boat easily accessible. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit next to the lake and the children loved "playing in the forest" - paths thru the rhododendron! Great location, quiet street. Property mgr was quick to answer our questions.

Wedding Reception Weekend

This home was the perfect setting for my husband and I, where we celebrated our wedding with friends and family for the weekend. The perfect Highlands cottage

Lovely property, perfectly maintained, very close to downtown Highlands. The owner checked n several times to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Cozy , well decorated and very private. Enjoyed every moment !

Peaceful and convenient

Property was exactly as pictured and super clean. Very comfy beds, cozy furniture, well-equipped kitchen. Amazing view whether you are inside or out and it was very relaxing to be right on the water. Great location - it was only a short drive into town, though we found it hard to leave! :) We enjoyed everything about this property and would not hesitate to return!

Excellent home and experience

We stayed with another family and the place was wonderful for our get away! The home is so well furnished and decorated! Plenty of room and very cozy! The lake was a bonus with the canoes and paddle boat! Our boys loved it and loved also their own cabin. Great yard and swing! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place. The communication too was amazing! Location outstanding! Highly recommend!
