Great Highlands home

Great stay! Plenty of room for our group of 10. Close to town, well appointed, great outdoor space. My only thing would be the condition of the pans. Most were non stick and were horribly scratched. Having experienced this at multiple rentals over the years I bring one of my own when we rent. This doesn’t bother everyone and that’s great! Just mentioning it if it does. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!!

annual 4th in Highlands

We had a great time...really enjoyed the back deck and looking out over the woods and the pond. Walked the neighborhood roads every day.....closer to town than where we have stayed previously....and we had plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Loved our stay. You'll probably be hearing from us again for next year!

Wonderful family place

We enjoyed our stay at Twin Ponds! It’s a great house for large families! We loved the porch, pond and the location! Everything you need is there ! We had one small problem while there and the homeowner very helpful in getting it figured out asap !

Wedding Weekend

We were in Highlands for a wedding. The house was perfect and everyone had their own room which was really nice. No one had to sleep on a sofa. It was very convenient to the Old Edwards Farm and downtown Highlands

Perfect and convenient spot!

A great location - close to town but secluded and tucked away for relaxation! Ample bedrooms so we all had our own space to retreat and rest well, but dinner and shopping and the spa at Old Edwards were only minutes away! Plus the host sent an email with all kinds of local activities and events that were happening during our stay. We would definitely stay again!

Heaven in Higlands

The property was perhaps the best VRBO listing that we have rented! It was clean, fresh and very well equipped. The owner was great to communicate with and very helpful. I highly recommend this property.

Lake Sequoyah

This property is not being maintained well. The outside needs a refresh, and the inside was not clean, at all. Dust everywhere except for obvious places. Smoke alarm had no battery in it. All remotes in poor working order due to battery issues. Not cleaned thoroughly and not maintained even close to expectations.

Highlands retreat

Twin Ponds is a wonderful, serene spot in which to relax and enjoy the beauty and peace of the mountains. It's convenient to town, but once you settle in you may not want to leave! The home is spacious and bright. Lei is a very responsive host--cannot recommend highly enough.

Mountain Hideaway

What a wonderful home situated in a beautiful valley on top of the mountain. The view over the ponds and gardens is incredible. The house has plenty of space for a large family. We had a great time cooking in the gourmet kitchen and using the grill on the back deck. The Master Suite is immaculate. We'll be back.

My group of six ladies enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Twin Ponds!! Gorgeous accommodations, beautiful views, comfortable beds! One of our group is a gourmet cook and the kitchen was stocked with everything and more that she needed to make us an incredible dinner & brunch!!

Perfect Highlands Stay!

This property is just perfect! From the location, decor, cleanliness, and decor, it's a perfect stay in beautiful Highlands. We had about 3 inches of unexpected snow and it was absolutely gorgeous when we woke up. Driveway is flat so we had no problems with our truck getting in and out into town for food and fun. We found frozen waterfalls and had fun fancy meals in town. We absolutely LOVED our stay and the property manager was so attentive and responsive. We will definitely stay here again. Plenty of room for 2 families or more. My only regret is that I forgot to sign the guest book!

Perfect Weekend Get away

We came to the Highlands on a girls trip for a 60th birthday. From the start of making the reservation everything went smooth. Great communication from owner! The house was more than perfect for our group of eight women. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep and get ready. The best part was the location! Blink and you’re in beautiful downtown highlands. Grocery store and waterfalls minutes away also. Can not recommend this house more!

Perfect for us

We had 2 families share this house for a family wedding. The house worked well for the 10 ppl in our group. This is probably specified in the listing - but important to note that the 3 bedrooms downstairs share 1 bath and the upstairs 2 bedrooms have 2 baths (1 is a master suite). We put all of our teens and adult children downstairs, but would be different if you have 5 couples for example. The location is both very peaceful, relaxing and close to everything we wanted to do! It was a short drive to town, hikes and the wedding venue. The kitchen is very nice and well stocked. The house was very clean. Lei was super easy to communicate with!

Great Family Accomodations

This was one of my favorite places we've stayed in Highlands. Close to town but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. The deck provides a great view of the community garden and lily pad pond, great for wild life watching. The host was very responsive and friendly. Plenty of room, comfortable and all the things you need! We would love to return next year!
