We had 14 people stay for a week. We had all ages including kids, teenagers, adult couples and single adults. The layout of the house was wonderful for our big group. We loved the hot tub, fire pit and ping pong table. The Christmas tree and holiday decorations made our family gift exchange quite special. The adults played games, drank coffee and sipped wine upstairs with a roaring fire. Meanwhile the younger generation enjoyed their space downstairs. We would definitely consider visiting again!

This house is amazing! Plenty of space for 4 couples (and could've fit 5). The amenities of the hot tub, outdoor fire pit, indoor fireplace, and screened porch were incredible! The location is also perfect as you're pretty evenly spaced between Highlands and Cashiers. I would recommend this house to others and would stay here again!

Family Time!

We always love Highlands and staying in this home made it all the more wonderful. Great space with ground and first floor living areas -- the hot tub and fire pit were added bonuses to this wonderful home. We'll definitely plan to return.

Highlands getaway

Perfect For Our Family

We loved everything about the house. Our family of 13 enjoyed the home and the surrounding area. We found this home at the last minute because of a previous reservation that had to be canceled in the Boone, North Carolina area. We were so pleased with this home that we would definitely consider renting it in the future. The house is actually so much better than the pictures portray it

Perfect Home For A Wedding Weekend

My friends and I attended a wedding and this cabin was perfect for all of the couples and single guests to stay in. It was very clean. The place was larger than expected from the pictures so we were pleasantly surprised. We were grateful for the early check! The hot tub with a view was another added bonus!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Enjoyed a 5 day family vacation in this lovely property! Convenient to shopping, hiking, waterfalls, local theater, restaurants! It was clean and cozy! Enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and ping pong table! Plenty of room! I would highly recommend this home!

Great place to stay for a large group

Very nice place and very clean. The only problem is it stayed cold downstairs…about 63 degrees. The upstairs thermostat did not seem to control it, as I was told.

Lots of room, but tired

Pros: 1-close to town 2- very clean 3- modern bathrooms 4- comfortable beds 5-lots of space and privacy for multiple families 6-real estate company very reponsive and friendly 7-well equipped kitchen Cons: 1- furnishings are run down (kitchen cabinet door fell off, couldn't pull out trash can in kitchen cabinet) 2-porch cushions are old and ratty and there isn't enough seating out there 3-house doesn't have a view. It is in the woods surrounded by trees... nice and private, but you can't really see the mountains. Maybe in the winter? 4-ZERO wifi. It's not that it is slow, it does NOT exist. The IT guy came out and told us the way this house is wired it will always be a problem. We still had a great time. Could be a great home with some TLC.

True Southern Hospitality

The management company was very quick in response and helped with recourses that we wanted. They allowed me in early to prepare before the guests arrived. When the guests left some items were left behind so they contacted us to see how we would like to handle said items. Very friendly and eager to accommodate.

House was perfect for my husband’s 40th. Slept 14 adults comfortably and had great living/communal space. I would recommend it if you want something spacious close to town!

The perfect getaway house for a big group

We had 13 people in our group and this house was perfect for us! Great size with large rooms. The main area is spacious and a great gathering spot. Everything was set up so nice and clean! We loved the porch and the fire pit out back. I highly recommend and plan on coming back again!
