Fireplace here was awesome for taking the morning chill off and our one pet, Lucy, a tiny golden retriever had a ball. The nice thing about the cabin for a family with a boy and a dog is it is easily cleaned and the porch on the outside facing a cool creek was most enjoyed by the boy and dog. The creek provided hours of entertainment for a six year old that lives in a city and has no access to water like this. Franklin has plenty of good restaurants and for hikers, this place is the bomb. Our favorite hike was to Pickens Nose which we had not been up to before this visit. Would happily go back again to the cabin,

If you don't have everything you need at this cabin, then you might need to rethink your needs. It was cozy, clean and there was even firewood for the large firepit. Sitting by the creek is the best way to start your day! The large porch facing the creek was a wonderful gathering area for us and our grown children. My family loved every minute! The host welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. We will return!

Charming and comfortable cabin with a welcoming and homey feel. The outdoor fireplace was perfect and the musical sound of the stream could be heard everywhere on the property. The nice mountain art and decorations made us feel at home.

We were looking for a nice, quiet cabin on a creek that we could just relax at for the week.....and that's just what Creekside Cabin is. We really enjoyed sitting by the firepit while our dog enjoyed the creek. Great place! We will definitely be back.

It was a beautiful cabin in a beautiful area. It was difficult for our vehicle to make the driveway though and it absolutely would have been impossible in ice or snow. We had one problem while we were there and it was immediately taken care of.

Fishing Trip

We loved being in the woods and in the mountains. My boyfriend absolutely loves the country out there he loves the mom and pop restaurants we loved everything about it had a wonderful time while we were there to visit and site see all the waterfalls. So beautiful if you love the country, mountains, site seeing/hiking, country cooking, mom and pop shops and somewhere with no service this is the perfect place!!!

This was our second summer spending a week at this wonderful property. We enjoyed spending every afternoon in the creek and dining on the back porch. The cabin is cozy and beautifully decorated with comfortable beds. The sound of the creek is perfect any time of day whether enjoying your coffee in a rocking chair, eating dinner on the porch, playing board games, or watching fireflies before bed. Highly recommend!

Better than pictured

Absolutely lovely few days in the mountains. Property was well stocked, comfortable, adorable and peaceful. We spent many hours by the creek and our daughter loved the loft. Hosts were responsive and check in was easy. We look forward to staying here again.

Excellent Family Relaxation!

The cabin was immaculate, spacious, tastefully decorated, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped. The beds were extraordinarily comfortable, lots of cozy seating inside and out on the amazing porch, which was our favorite hang-out. Our teenage boys spent time reuniting with each other at the fire pit every night. The stream was cool and shady, and such an amazing sound of relaxation.

Family vacation success

Good stay in cozy cabin. Creek was great for the dogs and the fire pit was awesome. Lots of firewood provided. Access was a little difficult for our higher than average van. Overall , a very nice stay .

Perfect family get away!

Our stay was wonderful! Everything was just as listed. We spent many evenings on the porch listening to the stream or teaching our son to skip rocks. This trip was to relax and reconnect and unplug. This house had everything we needed to do just that. Both beds were super comfortable and we all slept great after our adventures. Thank you so much! We will be back!
