Cutest and most charming place ever, with the added bonus of it being an art gallery! The hostess was truly "the mostest" and she checked in with me frequently to make sure my stay was everything I had hoped for, and it was! Highly recommend, as the host makes sure every little detail is covered and left very clear and easy instructions for check-in and check-out. Very easy property to navigate, and close to everything in downtown. Five stars!!!

amenities as mentioned, one item we could not turn down the fireplace in the kitchen, and it was way too hot. Tried to contact host but got no reply. Also, there was no cheese grater. other than that, the place was great for us.

The Art Chalet is an adorable property this SO close to the attractions in Highlands. The host was super responsive when we needed help lighting the pilot light to heat the home. It was cold when we came in and we had trouble finding and maintaining a comfortable temperature throughout the home. (I’m sure it can be done, but we weren’t there long enough to figure it out.) We were not aware that this is a 3-story home, and had to adjust our pre-planned sleeping arrangements to accommodate one guest with mobility issues. (That was our issue, and not that of the host or home.) The art and decor were one of a kind and added to the “feel” of the space. This is not a place for small kids, as the art is everywhere and low to the ground, and the chalet itself if right in a busy road. Overall, it was a good stay! Thank you Missy!

Don’t wonder — just book it! This home is spectacular!!! It is beautifully appointed, very chic and cozy. The views in fall are beyond! It’s extremely close to town, and the restaurant across the street is excellent for lunch or a late afternoon snack! The home was well stocked with supplies. And it was very clean!

Girls Weekend.

The perfect spot for a small girls getaway! The home was beautiful and close to everything. It is on a busy road and has lots of stairs so wouldn’t recommend for small kids but was perfect for us.

Perfect for a Girls' weekend!

Everything was perfect!

Amazing stay. House had everything you could ask for and more. Owner has fabulous style and the beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Awesome location so close to town and wonderful wine shop and bbq across the street. Great house for staying in and cooking and relaxing. 5 star amenities! We will definitely be back.

Coziest Art Chalet

I booked a last minute weekend getaway to Highlands for my family (2 adults and our 6 month old). I must say this is one of the neatest places we have rented. It reminded me a Swiss Chalet but the local artist paintings also gave it southern charm. I loved how all of the art on the walls was for sale. Such a cool idea! The space was perfect for our small family. The master bed was super comfortable, nice linens, and super stylish. Everything was VERY clean 10/10 and lots of extra amenities like body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, candles!, bar accessories, vinyl record player with lots of albums, etc. etc. The house is off the main road leading into Highlands so we didn't walk to town because we had a stroller, but was only a short drive. We love the Highlands so much and would definitely book the art chalet again! Thank you, Missy!

Perfect Little Chalet

What a lovely Chalet! This was a perfect spot for a little get away for the weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and all of the outside lounging areas. There were only two of us, so as far as the beds go I can only comment on the mater bed. Slept great and was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed for grilling out on the gas grill. What a great place in a convenient location. Would highly recommend! Thanks Missy for sharing your quaint little Chalet! I will definitely book again in the future!

Adorable!

My husband & I went for a quick trip to Highlands. This VRBO is in a great location, very easy drive to town, would not suggest walking though. LOVED the artwork and interior design & special touches. I felt like I was in a treehouse, so fun!!
