The house and host were fantastic! Beautiful home and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals which was great. The only small issue we had were the bathroom amenities. We had to search for body wash because the bottle they had in the primary room/bathroom was completely empty. If the host doesn’t offer bathroom amenities ( bath wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc it’s no biggie or problem just let us know so we can bring some. Everything else was fantastic! We loved staying in your home. Thank you so much for having us!!

This home exceeded my expectations. You read other reviews and look closely at all the pictures before you make your choice. I knew was I going to like this place but I ended up loving it! So clean, so well supplied. The hot tub was great. It was so spacious and had a great supply of board games.

The House in Highland was just what we were looking for. It is a large property that is secluded in a wooded lot. We were in town for a family wedding and wanted a property that could comfortably accommodate 5 adults and have room for hosting family guests during the day. We enjoyed the bbq grill, the fire pit in the side yard and the kids loved the hot tub. The hot tub is just incredible, large 10 person tub in a beautiful outdoor setting.The house was clean with a well equipped kitchen and thoughtful amenities throughout the property. The hosts made everything easy from check in to check out and checked in on us daily to see if we needed anything. I hope that we get a chance to stay at this property again soon, there is so much more of this part of the Hudson River that I would very much like to explore.

The house was perfect for our Hudson Valley excursion with family. Kids loved the arcade games and skylights. We were able to get to Bear Mountain, Mohonk and Hyde Park extremely easily. Excellent walk down to the river and quiet neighborhood. Loved it.

Beautiful house, perfect amenities, great location

We loved staying here. Originally our plan was to explore the area but we loved the house so much, how comfortable it was, how beautiful, that we found it hard to actually motivate to leave. The kitchen has everything you could want and we enjoyed the hot tub, the state of the art speakers, the multiple board games , the large tvs, the books and the arcade games. There is a cute town with a coffee shop and multiple restaurants just a few blocks down the road. Communication was extremely easy and fast.

Wonderful Property for a Relaxing Vacation in the Hudson Valley!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the charm and comfort of this vacation rental! Nestled in a peaceful natural forest, this place was the perfect escape to the Hudson Valley. The house itself is well designed, with an inviting and cozy atmosphere. The decor was modern yet warm, and every detail had clearly been thought of – from the plush, comfy beds to the fully stocked kitchen. The living room, with its large windows, offered breathtaking views of the surrounding nature, making it the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. The owners were very nice and responsive prior to arrival and during our stay! We were a group of 6 friends that needed a nice weekend away from NYC and this home provided the perfect getaway. The outdoor space was an absolute highlight. Whether we were sipping coffee on the patio in the morning, enjoying an evening campfire, or unwinding in the amazing hot tub under the stars, it felt like a private oasis. Overall, our experience was exceptional, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a base to explore the Hudson Valley, this vacation rental is the perfect choice. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Highland House! This beautiful property is nestled in the woods, providing a serene and peaceful environment, yet it is conveniently close to town, making it easy to access local amenities and attractions. The kitchen was a standout feature, stocked with everything you could possibly need. From a Keurig and coffee pot to a tea kettle and KitchenAid mixer, it had all the appliances and utensils necessary for cooking up a storm. The variety of pots and pans available ensured we were well-equipped for any culinary adventure. The gathering spaces in the house were spacious and inviting, perfect for spending quality time with family. The house maintained a cozy and warm atmosphere, enhanced by the abundance of natural light streaming in through the large windows. Overall, Highland House provided a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty.
