Travis and Leesa were wonderful hosts and made every effort to ensure our 4-night stay was enjoyable and very comfortable. My husband suffers from severe breathing allergies and they went out of their way to clean and eliminate any strong fragrances and chemical cleaner odors in the house. We were so appreciative of their attention to our special request and it helped to make our stay stress free and relaxing.As advertised, the sunsets were mesmerizing and uniquely beautiful each evening (it was worth the trip just to see those)!! As a bonus, even though Lakeside Marina was closed on Tuesday, they opened up just for us and we rented us a boat for an afternoon so we could cruise around Lake Hickory. The perfect way to spend and 80 degree day in October!We had a marvelous time and we hope to make this an annual trip each October with our friends when our sons attend Camp Blue Skies in Boomer NC.We want to extend a warm thank-you to the Rofflers for hosting us at Amazing Grace!

This house was perfection & exactly what we needed. They’ve thought of everything, from the stocked kitchen with a binder of nearby stores/restaurants & marinas, to the life jackets and floats in the dock storage closet . Beautiful home with a great layout for kids. We even enjoyed the rain under the covered back porch. So peaceful.

Wonderful home on a quiet lake, you cannot beat the views! Great fishing and swimming off the dock! WiFi is spotty, so enjoy the outdoors!

Great relaxing weekend

Even better than expected! Master bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location was perfect for our relaxing weekend. We took advantage of the awesome dock by renting a boat so the kids could play on the lake. Some pretty impressive houses on the lake to drool over. Less than 10 mins to a grocery store and less than 20 mins to Hickory. We are very pleased with the accommodations. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great Home & Layout

Beautiful home at the end of neighborhood. Lots of room to stretch out and enjoy the property and Lake Hickory. For the boaters it’s closely located to a marina and short boat ride to Sandbar Marina that has a fantastic menu and food. The house has everything you need to enjoy a stay with a game room lots of beds and wonderful sunsets. The multiple outdoor balcony/porches are another way to enjoy the lake view. Highly recommend as the hosts were very attentive and super polite!!

Super nice!! Beautiful views!

This property is fantastic. It is stocked with everything and is incredibly CLEAN!!! I have nothing negative to say about it and would love to stay here again. The owners/managers were so easy to communicate with and responded right away! Btw, Lake Hickory is beautiful and clean for those who are not familiar with it.

Lake Vacation

The place was great - very comfortable, host responded to all questions. The location on the lake was gorgeous. It was a quiet neighborhood, close enough to shopping and dining.

Stunning views

It's a beautiful location and the view from the giant living room window, high on the hill, is mesmerizing. It's blissful to watch the scene change through our the day and the sunsets were spectacular. The house is nice too ;). Great Lake Home

Spent 4th of July week here. We very much enjoyed our time here. Location is great on the lake. Kids enjoyed the game room and jumping off the dock. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking inside or grilling outside. I highly recommend this home.

Beautiful House!

We enjoyed our stay at Amazing Grace! We were in town for our son’s wedding and we enjoyed the lake in between wedding events. The house was so clean and beautifully decorated! If we’re in the area again, we will definitely book a stay here again.

Perfect Setup

We had a great stay at Amazing Grace. The setup of the space allowed us to relax and have fun as a family. The amenities of the property (great dock for our pontoon, game room, and kayaks) allowed us to park and not have to drive again for the week. The water was deep off the dock and so clear. The best part was that our dog was able to enjoy it all with us. We will be back!

Great Holiday Weekend at the Lake

We had a wonderful week at this gorgeous property. The house was clean, well equipped, and in such a perfect spot on the lake. Our boys loved swimming from the dock, kayaking, and fishing. We rented a boat two days from Lakeside Marina and had a great time exploring beautiful Lake Hickory! We would love to come back another time. Thanks!

The Perfect Home Away From Home!

We immediately fell in love with this home! Our grandkids loved the game room and going down to the dock to watch for fish and turtles. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We loved the spaciousness of this home and how we could all relax while in town for our daughter's wedding. Definite highlights were spotting cardinals and bluejays every day and the watching the sunrise and set on beautiful Lake Hickory. The homeowners were quick to respond and make our stay top notch! We will definitely keep this house on the top of our list when we return!

Paradise

I don't know where to begin. Right off the owners contacted us and made sure we made it in ok and didn't need anything, provided us with their contact information. The home was ready early so we were able to check in. We were surprised by a welcome basket, snacks and beverages. The home had everything you could need then some. The owners clearly take pride in their own; its well maintained and very clean. The views of the lake from every room in the home is amazing. Its absolutely gorgeous and so relaxing. The beds are comfortable. I appreciated not having a long list of do's and don'ts. Check out was very simple. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Perfect

The view and property were absolutely perfect for our family and pets (even in the winter). Pictures can't capture how beautiful the water looks. The owners were accommodating and communicated quickly and efficiently. If in the area, we will stay here again.
