"Everything was simply perfect. The cabin is even more beautiful than the photos! Relaxing, but also fun with the game room. Kept the kids entertained for sure. The view truly is breathtaking. "Such a nice place, even better than the pics. Love the cabin theme decor, beautifully decorated. Lots of room inside and out for a family to spread out. Thanks for keeping the kitchen well-stocked and leaving condiments/spices and kitchen supplies; we enjoyed cooking and preparing multiple meals. We were lucky to have perfect weather and spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the mountain views and fire pit. We weren't expecting such nice weather; I wish we had brought cornhole/outdoor games....

"We came from Austin to celebrate our first anniversary, and the little log cabin was absolutely perfect! We felt secluded, but not isolated. The view of the mountains is stunning! The cabin is newly updated, fully stocked, and oh so cozy. We picked up some groceries in Blocking Rock on our way, so we wouldn’t have to go anywhere for food. Hundreds of hiking trails surround the cabin, and the Blue Ridge Parkway is just a few minutes away. I would go back in a heartbeat!"

"It was really nice. It felt like being in the middle of nowhere the closest Dollar General and Walmart is about 30 minutes away but the quietness was worth it. The only downside was no Verizon phone service but the upside no one called me. Beautiful and relaxing place to stay."

"Only had 4 nights wish I had 2 weeks. Nichole was so friendly and helpful. Total privacy in n our unit. beautiful room with an everything we needed. Heated up a pizza on the grill on the dock. Glass of wine sitting on the dock on a beautiful night gazing over lake Norman. I as able to use the garage to store some of our stuff rather than hauling upstairs. We will return several times in the future. Loved our stay"

"My wife & I loved this cozy little cabin! It was perfect for us. It's over 100 years but you can tell it's been kept with love! We loved the rustic feel and floors. The home was clean and I loved the back porch area. I sat out there for hours just staring at the lake & mountain view. "It was a very nice little spot I did however think that it was further off the road and not as many neighbors but they were very friendly and really nice people and we had just as much privacy as if we didn’t have anyone around us.
