Beautiful rooms, lovely and clean, with mini bar …and they little details in the rooms like Disaronno liquor ….a little Italian restaurant situated downstairs. Maldon is a beautiful village, with little shops and restaurants just around the corner, I would also highly recommend Mrs Salisburys for food & service too which is just around the corner on the high street. Parking is also available. "

"This is the third time we’d stayed, previously in room 10 at the rear of the property. My wife has just retired so we thought we’d upgrade to room 5 with a balcony. The room was smart and spotlessly clean. The balcony really let it down as it was scruffy and needed a paint job and the caravan which was located below was filthy which spoilt the view. I maybe wrong but when I booked I thought breakfast was included in the price but I was informed by a member of staff that this was not correct....

"Being from the hospitality industry, I am not easily wowed but I have to say, the staff and service was wonderful, genuine and warm. Clean rooms, comfy beds, all expected amenities working and I enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant. I stay here whenever I'm in the area as there's always a warm welcome."
