My stay at this property was fantastic and the family members that joined me all had a great time as well.
Traditionally, my cousin and I have done remote and isolated camping in the national forest. I wanted to try and book a vacation home which still had that isolated forest feel but with the luxury of staying in a home rather than a tent. This property checked all the boxes for me. You do not see any other buildings from the house so it's easy to pretend your in the middle of the deep woods. The river can clearly be seen from the house and when at the river, you also see no buildings on the other side. The river itself was a delight. We did kayaking(the owners supply two kayaks) and we also brought floaties and a paddle board. In September, the water was relatively clean and the current was not too strong for casual floating and swimming and the like. The owners provide a nice fire pit as well although we did not get to use this due to the usual fire restrictions that are pretty commonplace in late Summer.
The house itself was clean and lovely. The owners seem to have put a lot of thought into stocking the home. The plan was to grab a bunch of food, then check out the house to see what we may need to go back to the store for. We did not have to go back to the store! They even have a Keurig there and an espresso maker.
The owners themselves were the nicest I have *ever* encountered while staying at a vacation home. I never met them in person but we exchanged several messages and they were always very pleasant and accommodating. Also, I always received prompt responses. I am very grateful for what they provide with this property and might just have to book this place again! Thank you so much for sharing this place,
