If you're looking for a nice, clean place to rest your head with the most comfortable bed you've probably ever slept on then this is your place. Cute decor. I did feel like there was no where for me to set my stuff out. All the surface space had decorations. Not a bad thing it just didn't seem very practical for the way I usually do things but I managed just fine. Nice neighborhood clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Great little place to reserve for the night.

Very Charming One Bedroom place. Clean easy to get to and well priced for accessibility to the whole area. D.C is about a half hour, and was easy to do various activities in the area. Very close to the Wolf Trap center! Highly Recommend.

We found the "tranquil" Sugarland retreat to be centrally located and convenient for the places we were visiting. The property is not as the description states, unfortunately. The garden and fire pit area are not available to renters, it was fenced off and not usable, also the patio area was not clean or usable. These were two key points of why we chose to stay at this location. The main portion of the house was being renovated, which did not affect our room, but it did affect the overall quality of the stay. The apartment is air conditioned, but renters do not get to control the temperature. It is controlled by the homeowner and is quite inconvenient to ask for a temperature change every time one is needed. It was quite hot while we were there, so I had to ask for changes several times. We met the homeowner the day we arrived; he was kind and pleasant. Overall, the space inside was clean and comfortable but we were quite disappointed that the property amenities, as described, were not available.

Very friendly cozy stay

We stayed for 4 nights. Our vacation started with a James Taylor concert at Wolftrap ( just a short Uber to the venue). The apartment had a nice retro vibe with a convenient small kitch setup, beautifully new remodeled bathroom, big screen tv and access to all major apps and internet. Wally and family were very welcoming and assisted any time we asked. Beautiful location, loved this spot!

We were staying for two days to visit Washington. The garden and the room are super nicely decorated. The room was very clean and has everything you need. I should have realized that this was a room in someone’s house when there was no kitchen! Once I got over that small initial surprise, my stay was absolutely lovely! The tranquil backyard environment was one of a kind and so beautiful and peaceful. Thank you very much!!!

Virginia weekend getaway.

This was a very nice spot. Everything, I mean, everything was well thought out and clean. My first impression walking in was WOW!! And the bed!! The bed was super comfortable. I would've spent more time in it. But hey, I was on vacation from California, so I had to get out and see the sights. Lol.

My husband and I were in the area for an engagement party for our son combined with a little sight-seeing. This was an ideal home base for us. Beautiful and cozy

We had a great stay in the beautiful and cozy setup. Everything was very well setup and very clean. We had our own firepit, our own patio with a cushioned swing and two cushioned chairs. All was beautiful!
