Ghost Canyon Gettaway is a wonderful place! All aspects of our stay were very enjoyable. Communication with our host was great. Everything was clean and the location is quiet. It's close to Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore and Wind Cave is not that far either. Hermosa is reasonably close to get supplies or go eat. My wife had a nice time and that's important:) Highly recommended!

It was super quiet with horses grazing in the field right by our place. They even came over to be petted. Nice outdoor space. Cute rustic feel. It was handy to the Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park, Custer and Hermosa. Beautiful area.

Wow! Can’t say enough positives about our stay at Ghost Canyon. Communication with our host was absolutely the best we have ever had at any VRBO property. Starting the week before thru a couple of days after we left.Property was better than advertised. Great location between Rushmore & Custer state park, just a short drive to both. Very serene atmosphere with an abundance of stars to view every night.Very well stocked kitchen/bath/living room. We wanted for nothing, but were pleased with all the amenities provided. We’ll definitely stay here if in the area again!

Amanda was a most excellent host. She even provided a fan ! The surroundings are what I imagine heaven to resemble and the proximity to Mount Rushmore was perfect within a half an hour drive.

Serene spot in Custer SP. off the beaten path. Cabin was beautifully decorated and spotless. Great set up for outdoor space to cook or relax. Welcome basket of snacks was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend

Very peaceful and beautiful!

Enjoyed our stay--very comfortable room and beautiful property, and very quiet environment. We were there by ourselves most of the week but when we had neighbors, the walls are pretty thin so that's my only negative. It's a bit of a drive to get down the dirt road but so nice when you get there.

Gorgeous!

The scenery and location were fabulous! We enjoyed the landscape of the neighborhood and the views in behind our room where we sat in the morning with our coffee and in the evening with our wine. The room itself was decorated very nicely in a horse theme, and it was supplied with everything we needed. It was within driving distance of all the places we wanted to see: Mr. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer State Park. I would definitely return!

Reminded me of my cabin growing up

This was a great place. It was very clean, temperature was great, and it was close to Mt Rushmore and other national parks. We used both the queen bed and sofa bed. It was safe and secure and I would definitely stay there again!

Ghost Canyon Getaway

Our stay was very nice, Matt was a great host and while we didn’t need much from him, it always felt like he was just a message away if we did. I loved the location, as it was away from everything else so the perfect place to relax after the days activities. The views were gorgeous, and overall just felt so peaceful. The room was very nice and tidy when we arrived, and well taken care of. Matt supplied many items we may need during the stay, which was very much appreciated. We loved our stay very much, and would definitely stay here again!

A step back in time

Absolutely loved it here! You get poor cell service. But the have wifi.they have cows you can feed and pet.The get away from the big city! I liked the rustic/ cowboy theme. The stars in the dark night sky was just a added bonus.

The cabin was very clean and quiet. There was plenty of seating inside and outside. There was just enough activity of people to not feel isolated, but still quiet enough to relax and enjoy nature.
