Amazing place and amazing hosts and hospitality. Close to nearby attractions but nice and quiet. And the hosts have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely recommend and go there again.

This is the cutest little cozy cabin for your trip. Don't let the size throw you off. It makes for a romantic and restful haven for your travels. The cabin hosts sweetly give out farm fresh eggs, the hot tub under the stars is a welcome retreat after a long day on your feet, and you have everything you need to make a meal or watch a movie. Definitely a great spot for a quiet little getaway cabin.

The Sundance cabin was an amazing getaway for my family of 3. It was a cozy, quiet cabin off the beaten path that provided the solitude anyone can enjoy. The cabin was fully stocked and the hosts were the sweetest people.

The place was clean, cozy and all necessities were provided. The shower is a bit of a tight squeeze, especially if you are over about 5’7. But we thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the deck and would love to return sometime.

Was very nice! Due to the one room cabin size not ideal with kids but with the loft is definitely doable. Also was very hot outside so wasn’t able to take my kid outside too much the days I was there. Overall great experience!

We had a fantastic time at Painted Buffalo! Peaceful & quiet yet close enough to do day trips to Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park. We were very impressed by all of the thoughtful touches in the cabin and appreciative of the chill, dog-friendly atmosphere. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to explore the Black Hills area but have a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day.

Property was clean and host was very friendly and accommodating. The cabin was much smaller than the pictures made it look. The shower was extremely small. Overall great experience but would not recommend for anymore than 2 people, due to size.

Peaceful getaway

Beautiful little cabin in a very quiet area with a relaxing deck and hot tub. The custer park pass is very helpful with so much to do in the area.

The host was so nice and helpful. He enjoyed our stay and will go back again. The host thought of everything and had the cabin stocked for every need.

Beautiful cabin ,Myria was exceptional host! She had a nice booklet that went over local interests and a personalized note with recommendation’s, a park pass for the state parks and fresh baked zucchini bread! Thank you for your hospitality!

Me and my wife stayed here for a couple of nights after our wedding. It was clean, set up well, had everything we needed and nothing that we didn't. The host is super friendly and responsive, and the area is very quiet and peaceful. Hot tub is very simple and cozy, which was perfect for my wife and I to relax in. Will be recommending this place to friends and family, the perfect place for a peaceful weekend away!
