Everything was good only a few things I'd suggest, the shower in the main bathroom could use a nonslip pad, my sister almost slipped and fell. Tv and fireplace remotes need new batteries and a side table on both sides of the beds would be great. It's a lovely house, thank you for leaving breakfast and coffee and water and orange juice. That was very nice! The house is so convenient to everything!! Love that.

Plenty of towels. Odd having the owner living in the basement. We heard barking from downstairs, the owner has a dog that she did not disclose. Thankfully we are not allergic. Quarters were clean but the decor above kitchen cabinets was caked with dust, quite unsightly. I didn't realize I needed to disclose that we were having visitors who were not spending the night. My step-children and their partners arrived at 10 AM Saturday to get ready for my wedding, and left by 1 PM. This was frowned upon by the owner so be sure to disclose everything about how you intend to use the property you are renting. We were unclear about where to park so parked along the front of the property, in the driveway, and roadside in front of a vacant lot. Evidently, parking across the street from the neighbors driveway is considered blocking the driveway. This is a common practice in my subdivision at home, but make sure not to do it here. When the owner called our parking out, we moved immediately. We were not throwing a big party, we were just getting ready for our wedding. We left our vehicles parked at the house during the wedding & moved them between 3:30 & 4:00. The vehicles were not there the entire stay! We mistakenly grabbed the owners hangers when packing up & failed to run through checkout procedure. I paid the add'l 150 charge for those reasons. Plus, my children removed the mirrors from their command strip adhesion to the wall to get ready. We didn't damage anything. Lessons learned.

PERFECT

The property was clean with plenty of parking. The temperature was great inside, the beds were so so comfy. The host was so responsive and accommodating to let us in early. There were snacks and water left for us. Overall, it was an OUTSTANDING stay, even if just a short one. Will definitely go back.

Great place, clean, quiet and within walking distance of downtown

The property is listed to sleep 10. There are 3 full/queen beds-2 sleepers in each bed makes 6. The only other option is a sectional in the living room which does not fold out to a sleeper. With one person on each side of the sectional, the house sleeps 8 max. Our two sofa sleepers were not very comfortable, sofa is soft which made it hot to sleep on. Listing should be revised.

Home had plenty of room for our 5 guests. Kelly stocks the home with everything you need. We loved the large main bathroom. Kelly is very responsive and we consider staying there in the futurw.

Girls weekend

Wonderful girls trip at a great location. Kelly allowed us to check in early which I was shocked because most places don’t. House was big enough for the 7 of us to sleep comfortably. Only complaint we had was the thermostat kept going up when we were trying to cool the house down a bit. I’d recommend this place to anyone for a weekend trip and the walking to town was not bad at all.

Wedding chill space

We were in Hermann to attend a family wedding. The accommodations at this house were great! There was a pastry waiting on the table for us along with milk and juice in the fridge! The milk was a life saver as we had a 2 year old with us. Conveniently located yet away from local bars and restaurants.

Going to a wedding

Surprised to see milk, danish, o.j. , and waters in the fridge waiting for us. Ice in freezer. We were out for a wedding and needed a place to stay for a night. It was just my husband , my son and myself. Thank you Kelly.

Property and Vrbo customer service

Property as listed, clean & comfortable, owner very nice, had milk, juice & danish in refrigerator for breakfast. Location was a little hard to find (roads closed for repairs) Vrbo Customer service was terrible, trying to get help to pay balance not deduct when first booked. Had to take cash to homeowner,no communication on app.Owner send message,never received, she had to meet & let us in.

Nicely decorated house in a close & convenient driving location to wineries, restaurants and shops. Prompt communication with host was greatly appreciated. Listing was a little misleading as it's called a bed and breakfast. We smelled bacon cooking in the basement but never got any. ;) There was a cheese strudel on the table and milk & O.J. in fridge.

The shower matt in the front bathroom and the shower rugs were both gross…….Easy fixes. We could smell cigarette smoke. We think it was coming from the apartment downstairs. The beds were very comfortable and everything else was nice.

Octoberfest

We've never stayed at a VRBO and decided to try it out with our friends at Octoberfest. The house was just fine for our trip, no major issues during our stay. I liked the remoteness to the home, but our group decided maybe a little closer to the action would be better next time. We utilized the trolley to pick us up and they brought us back home that evening. All in all a good trip!!
