"A beautiful little village, great for those who enjoy walking. We took a walk to Lumb Falls. Week long bus service that runs until a good time in the evening if you wish to not walk up hill from Hebden Bridge. The cottage was beautiful and would book again if in the area."

"What a lovely little place , very clean and welcoming. Room was warm but a standing fan was in room. Self check in went very well. We arrive late at night but I had already got the details we needed by text message. Had a dog who settled very well for her 1st night away from home. Only downside if you are walking the hill to hotel is like a mountain 😂 made us all ready for a good nights sleep 😴"

"The room was very small but very nicely set out. The bed was very comfortable and everything you needed in the room for a lovely overnight stay. The breakfast was delicious, we didn’t eat an evening meal but the bar area is really nice. Nice touch in your room were 2 vouchers for 2 half pints of Timothy Taylor’s beer. "

"Accomodation was perfect for us as we were travelling with our small dog. Excellent selection of coffee and teas in the room. Staff were all really helpful and friendly. We had our evening meal in the hotel, whih was excellent, as was our breakfast the following morning. Lovely town to stay in with plenty of pubs restaurants and bars. We will definitely stay again when in the area. "

"The staff were really friendly, the room was spacious and really clean. The bed was ok, I guess my only criticism would be it could maybe do with a new mattress, you could tell it was quite old and if you rolled near the edge of it there was no support and you pretty much fell out of bed :) There was a good choice at breakfast every day and a selection of full English items which was nice. Apart from that it was a convenient location at a reasonable price. "
