From our friendly welcome, where we we recognised from our previous visit a few years ago, to our farewell when we were virtually waved off, it was a great stay. An absolutely beautiful cottage set in a lovely rural setting. It's very close to Hadrian's wall, the Sycamore Gap, Vindolanda and other local areas of interest. We had a peaceful few days here with everything we needed. Thoroughly recommend the cottage as a place to stay and get away from it ...
