"Staff are very helpful and friendly, lots to do for children. Next to the beach and a cliff walk down to Amusements, rides arcade and Restaurant. Parking is in front of Hotel. Room has everything you need. Tea coffee biscuits etc Netflix and sky sports. We enjoyed our week very much"

"What a beautiful setting, we were blown away! The rooms were comfortable, clean and wonderfully supplied with toiletries and hot drinks. The beds were extremely comfortable, best night sleep I’ve had in ages. Parking is free, just register it at reception. Staff were efficient, pleasant and helpful. We will certainly be coming back. "Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x"

"My wife and I have just stayed at The Moorland Hotel for 4 nights, 3 of which we had an evening meal. Beautiful location in Dartmoor with plenty of walks nearby. From start to finish all the staff were brilliant, helpful, friendly etc... special mention to Carly, and all the restaurant, breakfast and bar restaurant staff we came across but cannot remember their names. "Very lovely stay, the staff were lovely, the food was amazing, we’ll definitely stay again."

"The bar area was stylish and welcoming with a warming fire. The staff were friendly and accommodating which gave a relaxed atmosphere. Food was great (1 Sunday roast and 2 steaks) and reasonably priced. We had a 1 night stay in a courtyard room which was a good size and perfect as we had a dog with us. A decent breakfast set us up for the next day. Highly recommend."
