Absolutely wonderful house

We just concluded a seven day stay at the Charming Place and everything was just wonderful. The house could not have been better for our group of 5 adults and 5 kids. The beds were very comfortable, everything was in working order, it is tastefully decorated, and beautifully laid out. The big hot tub was a big hit. Checkin and out was easy, they graciously accommodated a late checkout. Distance to Hendersonville shopping and restaurants was only about 15 minutes and yet was secluded and forested. Thank you all that made our visit so memorable.

Path to view is a hard climb and a bit dangerous Kitchen trash can does not close. Grab bars in showers would be advisable. Master toilet leaks and is a slow flush. Some type of shade in master bath window would give privacy. Not enough dishware or silverware. Patio furniture is worn and dirty Hot tub was unusable until Thursday of our stay. House is pretty spacious. Master suite is very nice.

Perfect weekend getaway!

Our group had a great time celebrating a couple birthdays at The Charming Place! The house was clean and spacious, we loved using the outdoor grill, and loved that we could bring our dog with us! The property was perfect for a weekend away and we will definitely be back in the future.

Great house for a large group!

My family had a great weekend in Hendersonville! We used the Blackstone grill and smoker -- we were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well maintained they were! While we were there, maintenance came and cleaned the hot tub. So thankful that all of the listed amenities were well cared for! We loved playing in the yard and the kids loved the game room upstairs. The listing accurately captures the property!

30th Birthday Trip

Went to Hendersonville to celebrate our sons 30th birthday with our family. The house was amazing and was exactly as described. Kitchen was well equipped. The outside area was fabulous with a blackstone grill ! Hot tub was great with room for 8 or more people. There is an outdoor fire pit which was great for s'mores. The outdoor lights are everywhere! The path up to a lookout is steep but well lite but worth the view. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Game room was amazing with pool table and ping pong. We absolutely loved the house and was great for hanging out. It is very close to many hikes and wineries. Hendersonville is about 15 minutes away which has lots of cute shops and restaurants and Asheville is about 30 minutes away. We recommend checking it out !!

Nice amenities, convenient location

Clean, comfortable house, great for a group, with nice amenties like hot tub and game room. Only 15 mins from downtown Hendersonville and 8 mins from grocery. 35 mins from Dupont Forest hikes. Great cidery 10 mins away. Also restaurants and wineries within 10 mins without going into Hendersonville. Doesn't have the spectacular views of Laurel Park, but easier to come and go from as you're not driving up and down a mountain. And the little yard is very pleasant with a bonus lookout spot if you walk up a little trail. The rental company is very responsive. Definitely recommend it!

We were a group of 9 spending a weekend in Asheville and the surrounding area. We ended up spending about as much time at the house as we did in town. The space was great for visiting, and we all loved the patio, grill, firepit, and hot tub. Everything was spotless at check in, which was a breeze. Highly recommend

Everything you need and more

This house was perfect for our family vacation. It was bigger than expected, had more beds, and we even knew how to use, and made it hard for us to even leave. Upon arrival, everything was perfectly clean and organized. There was nothing out of place. Hot tub was ready to go. The kitchen is very well stocked - literally had everything (and we make a lot of food). One particular highlight is the Blackstone outdoor grill area. We used that grill to cook all sorts of things from salmon, to asparagus, to bacon and eggs. Favorite moments were grilling while family hung out in the hot tub and others threw the frisbee in the spacious backyard. The back deck area is AWESOME. There are string lights the whole way around the backyard area on a timer, so you don’t even have to think about it, and it stays lit well after dark. Upstairs game room and bedroom and bathroom area is a great oasis for putting the kids when the adults need some much-needed downtime. All in all would definitely come here again, it was TOP NOTCH.

Great house for family gatherings.

This is a well-kept clean house. House was super packed with extra amenities, a pool table, a large hot tub, and a ping pong table. The hot Tub does get professionally cleaned, and someone unexpectedly arrived on Thursday morning. The house has an amazing grilling setup with a kamado grill and Blackstone. Make sure you bring your own charcoal and starter charcoal for the grill. The view is ok not really mountainside as it overlooks the forest. There is a look out to the side of the house that is steep to go up.

Awesome home and property!

Our family had a great time at the Charming Place. It was clean and as described. The outdoor area was perfect and the quick hike up to the overlook was one of our favorite things and unexpected! Love all of the outdoor lighting, hot tub, fire pit, etc. Very well furnished as well! Will stay here again!

Nice stay

The house was nice, roomy and accommodating to us all. One feature I loved was the smart home integration and the outdoor entertainment area. The hot tub is huge and great for large parties. Location isn’t the most ideal if you are doing a lot in Asheville, however, if you are needing a getaway it’s perfect.

Amazing stay

We loved the house! It was very well equipped and clean. The location is great too. Close to grocery stores, only 15 minutes to downtown Hendersonville, 20 minutes to Asheville airport and 30 min to Asheville.

Great house, needs curtains & better outdoor lighting

The main living area is inviting & lovely. There are no curtains and we felt so exposed at night. The lighting in the backyard is lacking & there is no hand rail. My elderly mother fell down the back stairs on her way to the fire pit breaking her ankle!

2 Family vists

Great overall area for sightseeing and outdoor hiking. House is set on a a lovely peaceful wooded lot. Everyday was packed with adventure in the surrounding area. Wonderful to come home to a house so well thought out. Made all our relaxation time easy. Great space in and out! We will be back.
