House had plenty of room even for a group of 14. The playroom and the hot tub was a bonus. The attached cabin allowed for more personal space. Love this property!!

The house is kind of funky, but very usable. It was large, with many areas so people could do different things without getting in each other's way. The kitchen was very well equipped. Our only problem was that one of the ovens and the outdoor grill did not get up to the required heat. Also, the lake mentioned in the listing had washed out in last year's hurricane. This probably should be explained in the listing. It would make a difference to families hoping to swim on the property.

Amazing house. Very private. So warm and welcoming with amazing amenities. We had 7 woman and the house was perfect and would be for an even bigger group. There are so many community spaces in this home.

The house was absolutely perfect. Loved that they were bathrooms for every bedroom. The cabin was so cozy and comfortable. Our only complaint would be the televisions. It took two or three people over 2 hours to finally get some type of connection through their phones. Some TVs did not have remote some TVs had five remotes. Normally TV would not be a priority but it was a football weekend and some of our party were big football fans. Other than that everything exceeded expectations.

Such a lovely residence! The house was very clean from top to bottom. The kitchen was well appointed and had plenty of room for many cooks. It was also felt secluded (but in a neighborhood close to town) and very quiet. We would love to repeat our visit next year!

Hurricane Milton

The place we planned to stay is probably extraordinary, but due to the hurricane, flooding, no water or electricity, our reservation was canceled. We’re so sad for the area and people effected. Our 5-star rating is for the way we expected our experience to be.

A great place!

We had chosen Kinlock Place for our 2024 biannual family reunion (14 people, 3 generations). The place is great. Everybody enjoyed it! And everybody found something to their liking.... table tennis, hot tub, the pond with the canoes, the pickleball court, even the piano was used. It was just great. The house is spacious, well maintained and everything you need was there. We would also like to thank the Yonder staff. They were extremely responsive and friendly. The few issues that we had were resolved within hours. We had a fantastic stay. Thank you!

Kinloch place

The house was ideal for our family reunion of 8 adults and 7 children. We had a great time with the game room, golf hole and pickleball court. Location was central to Asheville and the mountains but had plenty of privacy for our family. Yonder quickly responded to minor fixes. Overall it was perfect!

A Perfect Getaway

Our three-generation family group of 13 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kinloch Place. The house and grounds were immaculate and comfortable. The driveway is easy to navigate and there is plenty of parking for vehicles near the garage. The location is ideal! The house feels remote and private, but it is conveniently located near local attractions and grocery stores. The kitchen was a dream and well-stocked with pantry staples. The layout of all the bedrooms and bathrooms let each of our four families have their own private spaces. There was plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing, read, nap, play, and fish, plus large areas for everyone to meet up for meals and group activities. We all left with many memories to last a lifetime.

Perfect for our corporate retreat

This was a perfect house for our corporate retreat. I gave it a 4 as there were details that were missing. The dishwasher tray was missing wheels on one side so didn't roll out; several of lights missing working bulbs; top bathroom leaked and one toilet downstairs wouldn't completely flush. There were very few lamps so reading at night without overhead light was impossible. The internet also kept going on and off. One of us had to leave to teach his class as the internet wasn't stable and was out for hours. Aside from these details the property was beautiful and we had a good time walking property and playing pickle ball. Was also nice to have a big TV where we could all gather to watch BBall (when it worked). Thanks.

Perfect bachelor party

Great spot to hangout with your best friends and explore Asheville from. 20-30 minute Uber from all the locations. Pickle ball court was great and more than enough room for everyone.

Absolutely stunning!

This property was beyond MAGICAL. The pictures don't do justice on just how enchanting this home and grounds was to be on. We couldn't have picked a better place to go to have our closest friends and family around during our new chapter in life, subsequent to eloping. Definitely recommend this place to anyone whom enjoys a woodsy, fairytale getaway!

Simply The Best

This property was absolutely incredible. We stay all over the country on VRBO. This place was the by far the top of the heap. Despite the rain most of the week, we enjoyed the game room and pickle ball court. Our dog was in heaven all week. The house had everything. Spacious. Clean. Beds were so comfortable. Hot tub was so relaxing. We hit golf balls off the porch. We can’t wait to come back. 5 stars is not enough. We had our 10 year old with us. He loved the property and wants us to move there permanently. Lol.

Fantastic Property

Kinloch is gorgeous and truly unique. The old cabin is seamlessly integrated with the modern, beautiful home. The grounds are immaculate and reminiscent of The Masters. The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars overall is that the house is in need of some maintenance. We noticed that several of the sockets don’t work, lamps are missing light bulbs, and the most disappointing part was that the built-in speakers only work in the dining room.

Kinloch House

Our group of 12 family and friends (along with 10 more at another Yonder property) enjoyed a week of relaxation, catching up and pursuing varied available local activities. This house afforded us all the amenities, privacy and comfort we could have asked for. The Yonder support staff were available to answer all questions we had. Overall, highly rercommended!

Happy 50th Anniversary

The property housed our sons and their families and a brother and his wife. Seven adults and seven grandchildren. Had the anniversary dinner catered on the property. It is exquisit!!

14 people for a birthday trip. Had a blast, the house is amazing, the fireplace is amazing and the area is amazing. Great location for the local attractions and hiking. Nothing but positive reviews for this place and Yonder's management.
