Location and comfort

Thid cottage has very clean and comfortable interior. Great fenced area for dog and nice hot tub for its owners. Great location for anything in Brevard Hendersonville area. Very quiet location in country. Would definitely rent again.

Wonderful Experience at Hilltop

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Cottage. It was everything we expected and more. The cottage was clean and well equipped. We loved the comfort of the home, and really appreciated the screened porch and fence area for our dog. We would definitely stay there again.

Hilltop Hot Tub Heaven!

Favorite things about this house were the hot tub and the screened balcony. Large bedroom and closet. Really appreciated the fenced area for letting dogs out. Desk was helpful for working from home.

Great location for mountain biking and hiking Dupont and Pisgah area. Somewhat of a steep driveway that may be a concern in snow or ice.

Hilltop Stay

Perfect place for Couple and Pet and two kids. Two fireplaces, heated fan in bathroom and central makes it very toasty. All amenities were there, hot tub comfortable and warm and quiet neighborhood.. Got in hurry at check out but owner is welcome to place this is in guest book. Bring salt or litter if weather is icy or snow. Steep drive. Thanks. D&D

Hilltop Cottage an awful experience

WOW Hilltop cottage, what a terrible place. Dirty surfaces, hair and soap scum in the bathtub and sink, urine stained carpet, just filthy. I contacted the owner several moths prior to our vacation and asked what the cleaning protocol is during the pandemic. The owner Darla assured me that they have stepped up cleaning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I’m not sure what world she lives in if she considers this clean. The cottage appears to be furnished with curb side furniture and housewares. Very uncomfortable. If you enjoy spending time in the lawn with your family and or pets, don’t plan on doing that in this yard. Steep terrain, large pot holes, stumps, boulders, overgrown shrubs, weeds out of control. A good place to sprain an ankle or break a leg. Another area the owner is neglecting. This owner chose to be in the hospitality business. She should take a few courses in the hospitality field and customer service. It is clear she is only concerned about taking your money. If you are thinking of staying here, I recommend you run as fast as you can.

Our place to stay from now on when we are in ahemdersonvillle.

It was a wonderful relaxing time at Hill Top. There wasn’t one thing that was overlooked by the owners. The house was immaculately clean, ready and comfortable for guest. It actually felt like being at home. Relaxing in the hot tub was a wonderful way to end the day. Hill Top is our place to stay from now on when we come to N.C.

Outstanding stay

We had to find a place for 3 weeks while between houses and could not have chose better. Super cute, comfortable and clean. Very attentive owners even dropping off a Christmas tree and lights. It really felt like home. Enjoyed the fireplaces and hottube and grocery store 2.5 miles away as well as really close to Brevard. Thanks so much, we highly recommend it.

Great place outside Asheville/ Hendersonville

Great place in the quiet, 15 mins to Hendersonville, 30 mins to airport. House is spotless. Washer/ dryer available, ample parking. Screened porch with ceiling fan in front, small porch and charcoal BBQ in back. Many staples are there- salt/ pepper/ coffee/ filters so you don’t have to buy whole containers to cook 1 meal. New Publix , Walgreens, and CVS is 15 mins away. 2 gas fireplaces, large flat screen, wifi- cottage delivered on its description and then some. Great base for exploring Hendersonville and Asheville.

So clean. So comfortable.

Had a wonderful stay at Hilltop Cottage. Highlights were the kitchen counter space, roomy living room, the wonderful porch and side and back decks, and the comfortable bed. Large living area on the lower level is a great separate space. I would be happy to stay there again. Thanks for a great experience.

Wonderful

Great property! Loved the layout and fire place! My husband and I took our dog which is a plus since it is pet friendly! Great distance to Dupont where we mountain biked and hiked! Hot tub was nice after a log day in the outdoors! Also great distance to Brevard! We had Big Mike's Pizza which was amazing and Blue Smoke BBQ which has been our go to! We will definitely be back!

Great place for a great price

Do not hesitate to book this place! The owners thought of everything you could possibly need. Quiet but convenient location, great Wi-Fi, a fully loaded Smart TV, a nice hot tub perfect for after our hikes, and more. My husband were here celebrating our anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better set up. We both agreed we would stay here again! What a gem for the price.

Wonderful stay

The property had everything we needed, except a hair dryer. That being said, the listing did not say there was a hair dryer, so I guess that was my own fault for not double checking. The hot tub was great, the views were amazing, and I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!

Everything you need is hear. Well thought out property everything works good wifi clean extra cleaning products . House is a great layout you will enjoy how nicely it was put together. We had 2 dogs they loved running in the yard no fenced but easy to watch them little traffic if any Do it it was great fun easy access to all hiking towns etc

Perfect location for waterfalls

Wonderful, very clean property close to many waterfalls. The screened-in porch and hot tub were delightful. There are two living rooms--one up, one down--which would allow for children and parents to have some separation if desired. We brought our dogs and they loved the yard. Owner was responsive and professional. Highly recommend--a great value.

The place was nice. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch where we ate our meals and sat outside and read. It was located close to where my husband served as a summer youth leader at a church in the area so we were able to visit there on Sunday.

Amazing Getaway!

We had a great time escaping reality for a few days tucked away in this Hilltop retreat. it was amazing to have a hot tub to soak away our cares in. The fireplaces gave great comfort and were really nice to have in this getaway. The location is awesome. You feel a bit secluded while not being too far at all from lots of really fun things to do. This was a great vacation and cannot wait to come back!
