This is a beautiful property, with excellent outdoor spaces and access to the river. When we arrived, the gas fireplaces were banging and flashing on and off. I could not find a working carbon monoxide detector, which made me nervous. When I contacted the property owners, they sent a carbon monoxide detector, which I appreciated. There was absolutely no heat in the downstairs area, and it was 22 degrees at the time of our stay. I contacted the property owner about this, but did not receive a reply. We had to move all of the children to the middle level to stay warm, with one sleeping on the floor. I killed two German cockroaches during our stay. Additionally, the water from the refrigerator was barely coming out and tasted terrible. One of my children fell ill during our stay, and he insisted he got sick after drinking water out of the fridge. I do realize he could have gotten sick from something else. The hot tub water was a bit cloudy, and many of us developed a rash after being in the hot tub. I did contact the owner about the hot tub. They were responsive in sending chlorine tablets for the hot tub, but blamed us, saying that the children were going straight from the river to the hot tub. This was after we were very careful about washing off before getting in the hot tub. All in all, this is a wonderful property, but there were too many issues for us to book here again.

We had a great stay! Our host. , Tina was great! Very prompt with replies. It was Christmas and everything was beautifully decorated. There were 9 of us and plenty of room. We loved the decks and listening to the River. Thanks for a great stay.

Ours was a reunion of old classmates. We were all at least 70 years old. The hostess was a wonderful lady who really helped me out with some parking issues. The ladies that were staying in the downstairs bedroom did say that one of the lights in their bathroom was out and the other one was blinking, so that needs to be fixed for safety. Other than that everyone was really happy with the accommodations and all of the room we had. Thank you again!! Mary Creekmore

Bathtubs and showers full of mold and mildew including tile, shower curtains, liners, and jets. Spider webs hanging from ceiling and on walls. The blinds were missing the rod that allowed you to open and close them. Had to run hand down to close and then open each individual blind. Found a used adult toy in the bedside table. Blood stains on bedding. Messaged owners and three days later I still have not heard from them.

Location of the house to downtown events was perfect. Everything was able to be walked to. More than enough room for 8 adults. The property was clean and well maintained. The outdoor space was very relaxing. There was a fire pit with seating, swinging, outdoor T.V. with sitting area, hot tub and tables for an outdoor meal.

The house was beautifully located right on the river and it was a great place for our family to hang out on the decks and just enjoy being together. The owner was wonderful ever time we needed him he always called us. I cant say enough about this place it was just a nice get away and the house has every thing, that if you didn't want yo leave you wouldn't have to. But we sure enjoyed the bakeries and enjoyed Helen alot. We hope to find time to book this house again.

We had a wonderful time at the Chalet . The beds upstairs had plastic on the bed which made it a little uncomfortable but that is minor. There is a board that is rotten so we placed a chair over it. Over all marvelous

It was good but not great! The outside area was not as clean as it should of been. The house had water bugs (roaches). Getting out of the carport was challenging to say the least. A lot of foot traffic through the yard. Shower curtains were molded. The tubs with the jets are a challenge for older people to get in and out.

The views while sitting on the various decks were fabulous! Wonderful river view and sounds. Tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds. 4 bathrooms was lovely with our griup of 8. Nice location for Helen events. A little hard to find arriving first time. Housekeeping and kitchen equipment was below expectations and needs to.be improved.
