This property was an excellent size. We had a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids aged 14, 11, and 11). Another family of 6 with 2 adults and 4 kids (14, 11, 11, and 3). Everyone had a bed and some place to sit. The kitchen was large enough that two or three people were able to navigate and work in it. There were plenty of pots, pans, dishes, etc. There was a couple of shelves broken in the fridge that was challenging to navigate but didn't stop a large group from filling it! The location was beautiful with plenty of deer to watch. The back porch was a great place to watch the sun rise and set - truly lovely. The property managers were very responsive before and during our stay. The biggest complaint was that the home was generally dirty. White socks were block on day one (meaning, the dirt was there when we go there). There was a thick layer of dust on all ceiling fans preventing us from turning them on. The town of Blue Ridge was quaint and not terribly far away with many shops and Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. There were hiking trails along with places to fish nearby as well. Overall, a lot of memories and a great experience.

Best Anniversary Trip!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Highland Haven this past week. The photos of this cabin, its location, and the views do not do it justice. We were very comfortable the whole trip. The cabin is very well appointed, decorated, and stocked up. There was nothing we needed to buy at the last second because everything we needed was already there. We highly recommend enjoying the sun rise and the sunset with those amazing views of the mountains and valleys. The cabin’s location is ideal for exploring mountain towns. It’s only a 25 to 40 minute drive to reach Blairesville, Hiawassee, Murphy, nc, Morgantown, Blue Ridge, Ellijay. Jasper, and lake Notley. There’s even more, but those are just a few of the places we explored. The cabin is peaceful, quiet, and private. There is a cabin on the adjacent lot, but due to the way the cabins are sited it’s very private and all you can see from inside are those Mountain View’s. No sign of loud crazy parties, just peace and quiet conveniently located to so many different towns, shopping, dining, hiking, & a little gambling at the casino in Murphy, NC. We highly recommend this cabin to couples, families, and even friends that travel together.

Should be called Highland Heaven

I had all but given up on finding the property that had all the amenities we were looking for.... and then I found Highland Haven. We were looking for a hot tub, screen room, and a mountain view. This house had a hot tub IN the screen room with a mountain view! It was perfect! It was just my husband and me staying so we can only vouch for the primary bedroom suite but that bed was very comfy. The kitchen had just about everything you can imagine you might need to prepare meals and tons of space for multiple friends or large families to spread out. This made our 30th Anniversary so special as the mountains are our happy place. With only an hour and a half drive from our house, we will definitely be back! Can't wait to bring all the kids and grandkids with us next time! Thank you Brian and Lea for helping to make this the best anniversary yet!

A Great Cabin

The views from the cabin are amazing. We found the road to the cabin paved and easy to navigate. Check-in and check-out were easy. The kitchen was well stock and equipped. The cabin was clean, very comfortable, and spacious. Simply put, we loved it and look forward to staying here again.

Last minute mountain trip

This property was just as listed. We have had rental properties and at ay in a lot of rentals. We travel a lot and rarely stay at the same rental but look forward to returning. They have anticipated the needs of their guests. Kitchen was well equipped. Views are gorgeous. Beds are comfy, location is great. Communication was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and look forward to returning.

Gorgeous View & Beautiful Cabin

This cabin is my favorite of the many cabins that I have rented over the years in the Blue Ridge area. It has everything and the best view you can imagine. I look forward to returning in the future.

Wonderful Stay

Stayed here for a guys weekend and had a great time. Our group had 8 adults, and everyone had their own bed (if you include bunk beds), so there is plenty of sleeping space. We also had quite a few cars, and there was enough space in the driveway and the gravel area along the road for us all to park. The view from the back porch is great, especially at sunset. Fall weekends in the South means football, and we had TV's going in both the main family room as well as in the "Football Room" between the kitchen and the screened-in porch. We also took advantage of the nice kitchen and the gas grill on the deck to cook all of our meals. At night, we hung out in the fire pit area and gazed up at the night sky. There is also a ping pong/pool table, a hot tub, etc. to enjoy. On our last day there, we took a short (25 minutes) drive into Murphy, NC to check out the Harrah's casino. Great way to end the trip. All in all, this is a very nice cabin with very responsive and helpful owners. Everyone in our group had a great time, and we'd definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area!

Extended family summer getaway

Three generations of our family gathered to relax and enjoy the beautiful area around Blairsville. The cabin was larger and more comfortable than we ever had hoped for! The small kids had the best time gathering sticks for campfires, playing tag and hide and seek around the house and playing upstairs and down whenever we were there. The big kids and adults were able to relax and enjoy the hot tub, pool/ping pong table and the gorgeous scenery. The kitchen was very well appointed and grill was great! We had several big family meals around the table. We enjoyed EVERY minute of our stay and will definitely book again.

5 stars! Home is even better in person

Absolutely loved everything about this home, my family and I didn’t want to leave. They had everything you could need so that we could just enjoy making memories together. The entire home was extremely clean and comfortable. We loved that there was plenty of toys for kids of all ages. The view on the back porch was breathtaking and so peaceful to sit outside and have a cup of coffee enjoying the view. Not a single thing I would change or could be improved. Hoping to come back soon and make more memories with my family!
