Great stay! Very close/convenient to Dahlonega. Our kids loved the hot tub, panning for gold and trying to fish, although there weren’t any fish in the pond when we stayed and the fishing supplies could use a bit of updating/repair! Everything was stocked very well inside the home, even with a few welcome snacks!

Very peaceful and relaxing. Just what I wanted and needed. The only thing, which wasn’t really a big deal, the pond was listed as fully stocked. It was, but with tiny little baby fish about the size of baby minnows. Didn’t matter to us, but someone who wanted to fish might not like it. But it was very clean and we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again

Amazing Getaway

We had a wonderfully serene and relaxing stay! The Cabin was so comfortable! We had such a great time relaxing on the porch with our tea in the morning, and dipping into the hot tub in the evenings! Our dogs loved the creek and pond on the property! Our hosts were so friendly, responsible and available! They made us feel so welcome, and made sure we had a great time! We would not hesitate to stay again!!

In the woods, but close to town

While the house is only a short drive from downtown Dahlonega, the lot is big, with trees, a creek, a pond, and very little traffic. The front porch and hot tub are nice. The kitchen is well equipped. The eight of us enjoyed our stay.

Little piece of heaven

My husband, two kids (5 & 7) and myself stayed at this property for a week. It was absolute paradise. My kids spent every day all day (when we weren’t hiking to all the beautiful waterfalls) outside playing at the lake and small creek. It was so peaceful and we felt completely secluded. We had such an amazing week and wouldn’t definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It was away from the busy city. Peaceful place with many amenities to enjoy without even having to leave the property. We very much enjoyed our short trip away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life!

Wonderful Cabin in Dahlonega

Charming cabin just 14 minutes from historic Dahlonega. The Christmas tree was loved by all as well as the most comfortable sofa! Lots of room for 5 people with pups. We didn’t get time to try the hot tub, fireplace or fire pits. We saw small fish in the pond. Our dogs loved exploring around the cabin. Owners very quick to respond to questions. We were here for a wedding and didn’t have enough time to really explore so we can’t wait to return! Thank you so much Mikyla and Jason!!!

Perfect weekend getaway

We were looking for a cabin for our family to enjoy over our fall break. We are a family of four (mom, dad, college-age daughter, high school-age son, and our 2 dogs). We also wanted a lovely backdrop for our family fall photo shoot. This cabin could not have been more perfect. We loved that the cabin was large enough to spread out a bit, yet cozy so we were all still together. Our family enjoyed fishing (and releasing) the plentiful bluegill, panning for gold in the creek, and relaxing in the hot tub. Since our dogs listen to our voice commands, so we felt safe letting them be off-leash with us outside -- the only time we leashed them was when the occasional rabbit or deer showed up. I loved reading on the front porch swing. The cabin is at the end of a dead-end street, so our stay was quiet and peaceful. It was exactly what we wanted and we are grateful to the Carsons for allowing us to stay here!
