The host was exceptional and very helpful with any questions. We hada great time at the playground and indoor pool at TehWoods. We also enjoyed hiking in the area. I would definitily go back.

Perfect for my family

I did not personally stay at the property however I live nearby and know the neighborhood. The townhouse was lovely and a huge help to have family nearby, but not all crowded into my home. They all seem to enjoy it… No complaints!

Our stay in Hedgesville

This was our 3rd year in a row staying at the same unit. The owner keeps you informed on the unit and does everything he can to make your stay enjoyable. The three bedroom, three bathroom unit was perfect for the three couples The rear deck overlooks a golf course. Looking forward to next year.

June visit

We were at the property in June 2022. There were five adults there to visit friends in West Virginia and to tour the area. The house was in a good location for what we plan to do. There was a glitch with booking the property and we needed to leave one day earlier than we planned because someone had booked slightly before we did. The owner was quick to notify us of that problem. Checking into the house was easy. The house was nice enough but honestly it wasn’t up to our standards. We have stayed at quite a few VRBO’s. There were cobwebs on the lamp the patio door had not been cleaned and was dirty. We were surprised that the house wasn’t stocked better. There was only one garbage bag and when we inquired about more garbage bags we were told that sometimes that were some under the sink that prior tenants had left, if not we could go and buy some at Dollar General. There was one dish towel and one dish cloth to do dishes. There was no Kleenex in the house either. Just a little notice to future tenants that you will need to be prepared to bring what you need for your stay at the house.

Spent the weekend at this property while visiting friends.

Unit was very clean and equipped with everthing we needed. Perfect location and nice view of the golf course. The owner/host had the unit ready and cleaned early for us as we had asked him to do.

Great townhome on a golf course

Keith’s place was such a homey, comfortable place for us to spend part of our holiday break. We enjoyed the rec center a couple of miles away (be sure to reserve the indoor tennis/basketball court in advance and triple-check your reservation; ours, unfortunately, got messed up), played foosball and some of the Wii and board games, and cooked several meals in the amply stocked kitchen. Keith was reachable during our entire 5-night stay. Thank you, Keith!

The rating would have been an excellent but there was dust/dirt on all the woodwork at floor level. Also directions would have made navigating the numerous remote vontrols easier.

Quick getaway

Property was clean, and cozy. Keith made sure we had lines to accommodate all 7 of us. We arrived and the power was out due to Ida but Keith was on top of it and notified us along the way of it being restored. Tons of amenities...kids had a blast. Wish we were there longer !

Nice stay on the Woods Golf Course

Very nice and quiet stay at the Woods golf course. Biked the Western Maryland rail trail (Hancock, MD) one day, golfed another, visited Frederick, MD (1 hr away) another. This is a very scenic area in the country.

Family time.

From the beginning of looking at The Woods, I knew it would be perfect for my family getaway. It was exactly as it showed on VRBO. Keith answered all my questions very timely, also gave me suggestions for the area. Would like to visit in warmer weather.

Great Time!

Arrived to find a very clean and welcoming home. Keith reached out to us to ensure all was to our liking. Even though some amenities were not available, there was plenty to do with our 2 grandsons. Both will remember catching their first fish! Enjoyed eating dinner on the deck and relaxing after full days of adventure.

Quick weekend getaway

We enjoyed our time at Keith's property. Kitchen was fully stocked and loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Wish we had more time to explore the area..so many things to see and do. We will definitely be back to visit!

Wonderful Stay

Everything was great. The house was clean and the kitchen well stocked! The wi-fi was great and my teenage boys loved the foosball table and nearby pond for fishing. We enjoyed hiking and the other amenities in the neighborhood. We had a few minor issues during our time at the house and the owner was very responsive.

Buddies golf trip

This place was perfect for our visit. Three of us guys planned a golf trip and played right here at both courses at the Woods. The townhouse space was absolutely perfect and comfortable in size. Place was very clean and welcoming. The deck in the back was great for just enjoying the nice weather. The area was about 35 mins from CharlesTown for the gambling types. I’d recommend bringing or stopping for groceries beforehand since the nearest one wasn’t conveniently close. Thanks to Keith for being a great host with a great place. Will definitely plan on being back.
