"This was a lovely get away from the city - about 4 hours from Chicago with an easy drive. It's a new to renting so we were one of the first renters. It's in great shape, it has a grill and the kitchen utensils meant for cabin life. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. "Second year staying at this property! Very clean with a great up north vibe. We had a group of 15. Mostly adults, two teenagers and three kids under 10. We loved hanging on the back patio and the bar area in the back porch! Made full use of brick pizza oven and made homemade pizza one night. Lake Nokomis has many great swimming spots but did take advantage of the boat house and pier’s for another spot to swim! Definitely would recomend!"
