Pet-friendly studio for Blue Mountains adventures

THE SPACE
Tucked beneath our home in Hazelbrook, Understory is a private studio with its own entrance and outdoor area, wrapped in Blue Mountains bush and birdsong. It’s a calm, comfortable base for waterfalls, lookouts and long walks, and your four-legged friends are welcome too.

EATING IN
There is no kitchen or cooking facilities, but you’ll find a microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and mini-fridge, along with dinnerware and utensils for snacks and smaller meals. For dinner, order from local restaurants or stroll into Katoomba or Leura and bring your meal back.

PETS WELCOME
Up to 2 pets are welcome. We just ask that you cover the sofa bed with the provided throw/cover before pets get on it. A dog off-leash park is a 5-minute drive away.

LOCATION
Walk to Hazelbrook village centre for cafes and food.
Walk to the train station, so a car-free trip from Sydney is easy.
About 1 hour’s drive from Sydney.
About 30 minutes’ drive to Katoomba and the Three Sisters.
Close to the main Blue Mountains walking trails.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Check-in: after 4pm, using a key lock box
Check-out: 11am

We can be flexible with check-in/out hours if we don't have other bookings.

GOOD TO KNOW
We live in the house upstairs, so you may hear everyday sounds from above. Please keep this in mind, especially early mornings and late evenings.
The driveway is steep, so take care when arriving and leaving, especially in wet weather.
Please park in the nature strip in front of the property.
Let us know if you need to use the car charger, so we can move our car.
This is a non-smoker property.
