Wonderful stay

Our stay was excellent- the bensons were wonderful hosts. We had a personalized gift basket upon our arrival with a welcome card, the cabin was impeccable clean, the game room was an absolute hit, especially since it rained most of our stay. They thought of everything that you may need for kids and beyond. It was our first time in Hayward and we booked this on a whim-beautiful property, we are SO glad we did. We will definitely stay again, cannot recommend this enough!

Short but wonderful stay!

We had just the first 2 nights of the Memorial Day holiday weekend available for our stay but definitely left us wishing we had one more night! The property description was spot-on accurate and the photos show everything very well. Jon and Courtney have truly thought of every to make for an enjoyable stay! If you find yourself bored, that’s on you, because there are games and water sports galore, not to mention all of the streaming services on the tv’s! If you forgot something, no worries, Jon and Courtney probably have it there for you! The price tag on this rental is a little higher than I typically like to go, but with the amenities provided and attention to detail, I can honestly say that I got what I paid for! Highly recommended!!

The cutest cabin ever

I just cannot say enough how wonderful this cabin is! It's so clean, everything is decorated so cute, the beds are comfy, everything you could possibly need and more! The game room was amazing and all the games/toys make it a huge family hit! 10 mins from Hayward so easy trip into town for whatever you need but also totally secluded for peace and quiet! We will definitely be back!

Relaxation weekend turned engagement

We saw this property and we both needing time away without distractions from stressful work environments enjoyed this beautiful cabin and fun game room that kept us young at heart. What was a relaxing weeks turned into an engagement and our memories started at this cabin… so thank you!!! Amazing hosts that thought of everything from more kits to all the needed for the best stay .

Well-stocked and kid friendly. Kids sleeping loft with bathroom was the favorite for us. Peaceful views. Very large master bedroom. Nice appliances. Host very responsive to messages.

Beautiful Place!

While we didn't get a chance to fully enjoy the cabin, because most of us were off racing Cheq 40 - we can't wait to get back! It was a lovely place! Clean, quiet and filled with lots of toys for the little kids and the big ones too.

A Slice of Heaven

Up to visit family and memories of childhood cabin summers. The stay exceeded all expectations. The hosts have thought of everything for family fun to solitude that the Wisconsin Tigar Cat flowage offers. Wonderful "welcome" guest basket and lovely personal card from Hosts. Both Courney and Jon extremely responsive and available during my stay. Wildlife splendid.... with wild Loons chatting on the lake in the mornings, Bull frogs, Eagles soaring, Owls hooting in early evenings, Heron family grazing on the marsh during the day and Mama doe with baby fawn coming for early morning clover breakfast. Game area even exciting solo or with family. Darts and Pac man memories for me. Not as good as back in the day however fun. Kitchen well equipped, grill wonderful. Indeed, house is all that was advertised...views out every window enhanced the experience. Highly recommend for families or couples and even solo retreat. Will be back for sure.

Exceptional Cabin in the Woods

LOVED IT!

The pictures do not do this place justice! Way better in person! So peaceful, gorgeous, and cozy! The beds were comfortable! It was clean. The decor was lovely. We had a great gift basket waiting for us. We traveled with 3 kiddos, 2 being under the age of 3. The place was the most kid-friendly placed we stayed at. Hours of fun in the arcade! Owners wer fast and responsive. We definitely plan on coming back toward the end of summer! Cannot wait!

My daughter and I really enjoyed the time at your cabin. We did have one issue that did arise. Upon checkin we noticed a slight odor, like a dead mouse. That odor continued to increase throughout our stay. We spent time looking to see if we could find the mouse but were unable to locate it. We do understand that we were not staying at the Ritz, and we were in the woods.

Great weekend stay!

We loved our weekend in Hayward. The cabin was well equipped and perfect for our family of 5. The kids raved about all the things there were to do and the game room was a huge hit. The welcome basket with smores supplies was a really nice surprise! We will definitely be returning one day.

Hayward cabin

We had a great time at the cabin. The game room was a blast, lots of outdoor games too. We took the kayaks and conoue out on the lake. My 7 year old's face lit up when he saw the gift/snack basket with smores supplies and treats. We used the grill and fire pit most of the evenings. Hayward is only about a 15 minute drive to pick up supplies or go to a restaurant. It was a great way to finish off summer!

Perfect

This property was perfect for a trip with our two teenagers. Everything was just as listed and we thoroughly enjoyed the game room and water activites. It was easy to get from our area to the bigger lake and we loved exploring it. I also really appreciated the welcome packet they sent, we ended up doing a couple of the suggested activites nearby. A great property and a wonderful stay!

Amazing cabin, even better host's

Everything about this cabin was amazing! It's beautiful, immaculately maintained, and hospital clean. Beyond that, the hosts thought of everything. From the things you may have forgotten, to the things you didn't know you needed. Welcome basket and note made our arrival even better. Hosts were readily available to contact for any questions or concerns. Honestly the best rental experience my family has ever had.

Paradise in the North Woods

Came to Hayward for LWC and really enjoyed every part of the stay. Property is clean, quiet and a short drive to town. Game room was incredible and perfect for our competitive family. Would stay again and tell others about this magnificent place.

Fantastic!

This place is everything a rental should be and more! The property was clean and included everything you could need. The arcade is incredible and entertaining, but the home also has games and kid toys. The communication with the hosts is incredible and they remember to check on something I asked about months prior to our arrival. It is clear that the owners take a lot of pride in this cabin and providing an incredible experience. Thank you!

Beautiful getaway

So impressed with cleanliness and comfort of this cabin. The owners go the extra mile to welcome and make your vacation easy and enjoyable. The kitchen has completely stocked cookware, plates, bowls, silverware, waffle iron, coffee makers… grill, fire pit, plat area for kids. Gameroom for everyone is spectacular. A short paddle ( with either kayak, paddleboard or canoe) to big lake that is quiet and clean. Close to great Wisconsin restaurants- from fine dining to casual. Downtown offers shopping and eating for all. The attractions are unique and spectacular. This cabin is top rate, so many memories to make and relax

Great stay, beautiful property

Our young family had a great time at the cabin and will most definitely be back! The game room provided hours of entertainment for our 4 kids - and I suspect they will be talking about it until we return. Everything you could need and more is provided by the generous hosts. Hayward was still a winter wonderland during our late March visit and we enjoyed exploring the secluded property on the provided snowshoes, skiing from the nearby OO Birkie trailhead, and venturing out to Cable/Hayward shops and restaurants. Book it!
