  • Welcome to Animal Kottage! We are located in a secluded area in Hayward, WI on 3.5 pet-friendly acres and only 3 miles from enjoying the downtown atmosphere of this amazing city.
    Enjoy your morning coffee on warm summer mornings and take in the evening sunsets while grilling on the back porch. Plenty of room in the manicured yard for outdoor games experience or just enjoying some drinks around the firepit while the kids and dogs play.
    Located close to several lakes, shopping, lots of great restaurants as well as ATV and Snowmobile trails.
    Watch as deer wander through the property on their way to the Namekagon river just a short walk away or as birds, bunnies, and other wildlife enjoy the quiet and remote location.

The propert was very peaceful and clean. The home was clean and had a nice coffee bar. The candy bowl on the counter was a noce surprise. The host was very prompt to respond to our questions and needs. Would stay again!

The Perfect Little House

We normally stay elsewhere when we visit Hayward, but after missing out on our usual spot we snagged this gem. Everything was PERFECT. Comfortable beds, plenty of space, and the most “homey” feel. One of our best VRBO experiences yet!

Visit at Animal Kottage

We loved our stay at Animal Kottage. The space was very clean and welcoming. We loved the coffee bar and sitting outside by the firepit. We appreciate that the owners are animal lovers!

Very clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. The location was perfect, quiet, yet close to everything. We enjoyed sitting out back with the beautiful wooded surroundings. Trego is a short ride away where we rented canoes and paddled down the Namekagon River. Highly recommend Amimal Kottage!

Wonderful stay at the Animal Kottage

We had a great time staying at this property. The owners thought of everything you need for an enjoyable stay both for the humans and our 4 legged family member. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Location

This was the perfect location and size of property for our visit to the Hayward area. It was so quiet and peaceful and centrally located to everything we needed to get to. Highly recommend this location.

Perfect for what we needed

We came to the area to ride sxs and this house was perfect. It was clean, had all the necessities, and great location. We would for sure book this same place again if we come back to the area.

This property was perfect for a trail riding vacation. The cottage is super clean, very well stocked and Jordan could not have been more amazing to work with. There were 4 in our group. Great space for cooking, dining, card playing and building memories. We loved having the fire pit. The candy dish and the coffee bar were great and made us feel very welcomed. We had a blast. We will definitely use this property again.

Weekend away

This was the perfect place for our weekend in Hayward. Private, yet close enough to town for the wedding we had. Jordan was very responsive and helpful during our check in process. Definitely recommend.

Animal Kottage Vacation July 2023

Great place to stay! Very Clean, very cozy, great coffee bar area. Great area for dogs to run and relax along with us humans. Close to downtown Hayward. The owners are the best easy to reach if you need assistance or to answer questions. Hope to go back in 2024!

Peaceful, quiet, secluded

The property was very private. Beautiful wooded area. Close to town, yet secluded. Home was nice and clean and inviting. Made several bonfires. We enjoyed our time there

Sparkling clean, great location

We loved the privacy and quietness of the property. The yard was great for letting the dogs play and having fires or sitting on deck. Yet it was only a short, easy drive from Hayward. The house itself was very clean, well stocked and we had plenty of room. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee bar.
