We had a wonderful stay at the Moorland Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone exploring Dartmoor. The accommodation and dining options were excellent. The location is very close to Hay Tor with lots of beautiful walks from the hotel.

I always enjoy my stays at The Grand, and have visited annually for 16 years. The pool is fantastic and the ambience lovely. Great bar in wonderful setting with views of the bay, and reasonable prices for drinks. Breakfast is good and tasty, but I have never liked the marmalade, far too sweet and ...

the bar in an hotel that large didnt have Bacardi totaly unaceptable for an hotel that caters for wedding events. also the rooms needed a better cleanerdust on the small table and the patio doors were filthy.
