When we arrived the apartment key was left in the lock and we were not sure if the host was going to greet us or not (we normally stay in hotels but wanted to try something a bit different). "The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain."

"We had a fabulous time. Great communication and welcome from owners. The apartment was beautiful, the decor, the outlook from sitting room window, with all the trees and birds. "I did ring Tina regarding a couple of things and she was pleased to get feed back. For example no blue bags to put dirty linen in . The cottage was decorated inside and out for Halloween and as older adults did not want to look at them inside the cottage didn't mind outside. I have recommended the cottage to family in same village for visiting family and friends."

"There was a slight issue when we checked in as the information folder containing wifi codes etc was missing. But this was quickly resolved by contacting the owners, who were friendly and responded quickly to messages. Overall the accommodation was great, spacious and very quiet. But at the same time close to local facilities and transport. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area."

"This property was all you could ask for in cleanliness and presentation. The host was friendly and helpful.The only downside for us was that in the details online stairs and steepness were not mentioned. The garden was beautiful but the two of us have mobility issues and we found that and the stairs to shower room difficult. So maybe update details to include a mention of this. Otherwise the place and hosts were wonderful."
