Homecoming
We stayed so that we could attend Fort Hays State Homecoming and watch our daughter cheer. The location was easily accessible from Hays and was very clean and comfortable for our group. You will need to bring ice as the freezer does not have an ice maker.

Cute and quiet
Great quiet location. Bedrooms were spacious, kitchen has what you need and living area was nice. Hosts responded quickly. Washer and dryer a huge plus for travelers! Coffee provided! We loved looking at the stars and would use this place again if ever in the area.

Quaint and peaceful

Amazing and beautiful stay
Great area, friendly people, clean and beautiful area. Loved their dog, lots of birds, great yard and house. Loved every moment! Would definitely stay again. The pictures didn’t do it justice. They had everything we needed.

Weekend of softball
We had a softball tournament in Hays. Our hosts were wonderful! Our kids roamed around the yard and played with our dog and their dog. They were in the yard and we enjoyed talking to them. Super friendly, beyond accommodating if we needed something, and they helped us with our dog! Would definitely recommend this property and will stay again if available if we need to come back!

hunting trip
We enjoyed our stay the rooms where clean. We had plenty of room and the hospitality was great .Nick took time out of his day to show us the land and gave us tips where to hunt. would highly recommend this place.

Great quiet getaway in the country
My father, son, and 2 small dogs were traveling through the area on our way to Colorado. Nick’s home was the perfect place in the country to get a good night of sleep before our final day of travel. The home was clean and quiet. It was also close enough to town to have a nice dinner. Highly recommend!

Great House and Even Better Owners
My friends and I booked this place for our yearly hunting trip to the area. Katie and Nick are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and made us feel like family during our stay and the hospitality was top notch. My group will be staying here every year from now on and we’re all ready looking forward to next year!

Plenty of room, big kitchen, very clean. Ten miles straight out of Hays but worth the drive.

Nice place to lay your head
Accommodation choices are slim when driving across western Kansas so we were happy to find this place on our way back from CO. I'd recommend it with a note that this is quite a distance from I-70 and off a gravel road (the road is fine, it's just a country road). I'd recommend double-checking your GPS as it may have directed us the "long way". Not sure about that but it sure seemed farther from 70 than I anticipated. We weren't able to really enjoy because it was a late arrival and early departure but it gave us what we needed. If you just need to lay your head for a quiet night, this is a good, clean, quiet place. There is nothing around but farmland as one could expect from western KS. Amenities were fine with coffee available. Check-in was a breeze.

Thanks for staying Nancy. We are 12 miles south of I 70 . Some maps apps bring you in from a mile north and some bring you in from Schoenchen. Than it’s less than a half mile of dirt road .

The owners of this property KATIE & NICK WERTH were very considerate and helpful when booking my stay, I book for two nights boom done, But then a situation came up and I needed to add an extra night they were very accommodating and did above and beyond to make it happen. It was great!
Everything was great and very well decorated, however the bed wasn't very comfortable. That's our only concern, otherwise it was amazing! Lovely house!

Beautiful 🤩 quiet 🤫 and peaceful stay
Communication with Nick was very simple and easy! He is very responsive. Amazing host with beautiful home. Peaceful and quiet in the country!! Had a wonderful greeting by Remi the pooch!! Nick came and introduced himself and brought a crock pot for the little get together with family and friends!! Katie stopped by on her Mule and introduced her self and gave me some history on Mules!! The house has everything you need!! Plenty of space with an amazing bathtub to relax after a long day!! When I come back to this area I will definitely make sure to be in touch with Nick!!
