Old Charm in God’s Beautiful Creation

This was the perfect getaway for my family and me. It was quiet and offered us a chance to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life to focus on God's beautiful creation! The house is enormous and provides a substantial amount of space. The driveway was smaller than expected, and you'll miss it if you aren't paying attention, but it wasn't a problem to turn around. We would definitely stay there again.

The house was big and spacious. The additions were great. It just wasn’t as clean as we hoped. There were dead insects in the window of the main bathroom that I had to clean out. The silverware drawer was very dirty, and we found mouse droppings in the pots and pans. On the day that we checked out we actually saw a mouse dart out from under the loveseat across the living room and ended up going into the hall closet. Aside from that we would of rated this place 5 stars.

Spacious! Wonderful place to stay/great porch

Lovely Location

This was perfect for us. It is right on the lake. We were able to bring out dog; a huge bonus. It is right on a road going up the mountain. We enjoyed the location situated so we could visit a few other small towns and enjoy some nature. There were a few good restaurants in the area. Nocturnal had great food and drinks. We would stay there again.

Great house, great location

We had a great stay at this house! It is a very well-cared for, unique property that is kept in excellent condition. For a house that allows pets, there was no hair! It is right on the road, but we found that a benefit as it allowed easy access to the hiking and biking we were interested in. Thank you, Evolve!

Old. Unclean, unsafe. Broken furniture. I gave an indepth review with Evolve. Worst ever experience using VRBO. Do you do on site inspections to approve these rentals under your name?

Wonderful old Farm House, 7 bedrooms.

Not sure if home was still under renovation, one bedroom 1/2 painted! Back deck needed a coat of paint! Stairs from porch to yard, not painted! Gas grill filthy with grease running out on to deck. All in all, we loved the home, hopefully it will be finished next time we stay!

Enjoyable Trip!

The cottage had plenty of room, with multiple bedrooms to choose from. Located right on the water with beautiful lake and mountain views. Plenty of outdoor activities for everyone, or you can just chill on the deck and watch the world go by. Easy to work with management/owners. We will be back!

pet friendly not people friendly

Large older home in a great location with a few maintenance issues. Main problem was the strong odor of dog in living room. Called Evolve contact who said house was pet friendly and cleaner may not have sprayed enough. Propped open windows and used fans. Found rug freshener and used on chairs and rug. Vacuumed off powder with a new vacuum cleaner. After 2 weeks odor was tolerable but still present. Required damage protection of $330 a bit excessive. No more Evolve!

Quaint and cozy home w/wonderful water access!

The house is charming and cozy. There is no shortage of sleeping space! But the best part is the lake frontage! Sitting in a quiet cove, there is ample space for fun family games on the lawn or splashing on the shorline! We enjoyed our weekend and plan to return again!

Half way decent but needs work!

Security is definitely lacking. Some doors are literally locked with a nail attached to a wire that is slid into an eye bolt! Downstairs French door didn’t even lock which led out to a patio not cleaned, with broken glass from Windows and cigarette butts along the Window sills. As past posts mentioned, lack of chairs on the patios and piles of broken chairs piled in corner on deck. The deck was a mess, I spent my first hour washing the deck, chair and table set and grill. When we sat we were covered in yellow pollen. It hadn’t been cleaned in a long time! I also had to vacuum house when we arrived as bathroom floor had a lot of hair on it. The entire house needs a good cleaning. The neighbors across the street have the worst bright light pollution that lights up front bedrooms at night. The yard and location are beautiful The added undisclosed fees were really absurd, like 250 in damages fee, before I even stayed. I literally left this place in better shape than when I arrived. This hasn’t left me with a good feeling for VRBO

Thanksgiving with Family

Great place. Had plenty of room to relax. Sunporch area was perfect for kids to play and watch tv separate from adults. Enjoyed the lake view. Would definitely book it again.

Absolutely lovely place, very homey, lots of room, well furnished kitchen. plenty of bedrooms. Yes it is an older home, BUT could not ask for a nicer place to stay, visit and enjoy the time together with the family. And did i mention the veiw? Even though the weather was cold the home was toasty warm and inviting. Loved the enclosed side porch/sun room.
