"The room smelt like cigarette smoke, the hand basin wasn’t wiped clean and there was pie pastry on the floor behind the bathroom door. The continental blanket on the single bed had awful marks on it as well. When I checked in they asked me to pay for a room I had pre-paid online."

"This hotel is gorgeous- the refurbishment is beautifully done and the room I had was really spacious. The bed was comfy and the kitchenette and barhroom were user-friendly and super clean. I will say the parking can be a bit of an issue, particularly if you have bags to drop off and because of the location ( the middle of the CBD) the street and traffic noise is really loud. If you dont mind street noise though its the perfect innercity stay."

"Probably the worst motel we have stayed in in NZ, in recent years. Would strongly advise to avoid! It’s dirty, and cold, horrible beds, and no service other than towels replaced. Days with rubbish not removed, floors not hovered all week! Air con wasn’t working until my husband cleaned it! Items broken such a cracked light switches, and drawers broken. Mold in both the bathrooms, and hairs under the sink area from previous guests other in our group had complained but nothing changed! Just...
