Fresh home made bread on arrival, and a well stocked starting pantry with lots of milks and cereal. Nigel’s welcome and travel suggestion was great. Highly recommended.

Warm and welcoming

Nigel goes out of his way to create a welcoming home. Freshly baked bread, generous provisions and a warm personal welcome. I ended up stayed in the 4 bedroom house next door - Hawker Bed and Breakfast. The sofa bed in the TV room is now a very comfortable queen bed. Groups should be aware that one bedroom is a walk through between the TV room and kitchen. All rooms have effective reverse cycle aircon so the house warms up quickly on cold days. After hiking in the rain one day I was very grateful for the modern washing machine and dryer.

Great stay

Lovely home with secure yard for the dog. Well stocked fridge with home cooked bread greatly appreciated. Close to all facilities and great for Heysen Trail. Nigel very friendly and amenable. Highly recommend

Down to the freshly baked bread, beer glasses in the freezer and guidance on the best to see in the area, it was a delightful stay for us. Comfort of home and being cared for. Thank you and we hope to stay again some time.

Fantastic Host

Fabulous 3 nights in Hawker

This property is in the heart of Hawker and a 40 minute drive from Flinders National Park. The property is beautifully presented and has everything that you could possibly need. Nigel is a delightful host and goes above and beyond to meet your every need. The homemade bread was a real treat as was the coffee machine.

A surprising little jewel in Hawker for those who travel with pets

The porperty is exactly as descibed; clean, neatly maintained and is well equipped with many new appliances. The secure yard truly makes the property pet friendly, many advertised pet friendly properties do not have this feature. We were most grateful for our stay with pets in such a tidy, clean and well appointed property. Star gazing is a must, especialy using the app recommended by the host. We were really struck by this cute little property that doesn't prejudice pet owners, a rare find!

A wonderful place in the heart of Hawker

We had a wonderful 3 nights at Nigel’s place in Hawker. He a lovely host who met us at the door and showed us through the property. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his well appointed house was a great base to explore the Flinders. The freshly baked bread and warm fire were lovely to come back to after a long day exploring. We’ll definitely be back, thanks for your hospitality.
